Google Bad Review 1:  Makes up lies about students, does not prepare adequately. Avoid!

I’m leaving my original review as above but wanted to update/add to it. Replying to this negative review is one of the few occasions Matt bothered to respond quickly.

He has played to me recordings of other students as “examples” which then turns into an exercise for him to boost his ego. One of these students died a long time ago but he keeps the recordings, as he has also unreasonably kept mine. Lied to gdpr that I owed him money and a recorded lesson was evidence although he would never take payment by PayPal or card, always cash with no receipt…

His techniques are also out of date and has no industry knowledge or experience

Google Bad Review (2):  Booked a course well ahead of time, for which the owner sent me an email telling me that there were only 2 spots left, but then cancelled the course just one day before it was due to start because of poor attendance. He pointed out that his email said two places left ‘at that price', which was very misleading, making it look like it was a well subscribed course and so filling the last slots would make it a confirmed course, so it was frustrating and surprising to have it cancelled at the very last minute. The emails were apologetic, but sending misleading information to new clients really gives me concerns about his honesty and integrity, so I won't be booking anything else with this school – if I can't trust emails from the company owner it really isn't a good company to work with in any way.
