Google Bad Review 1:  Why do I think this company is useless? (I'd give it zero stars! AVOID!)
1)They sent me an illustration of a 30yr mortgage and then applied with the bank for an 18yr mortgage. Delayed my application, caused unnecessary stress, and will cost me as my current mortgage runs out of the fixed rate.
2)Having made a mistake on my remortgage application. James is now un-responsive to my emails to get information. I've just recieved an email response saying he is busy, and the deadline for my application is the end of June? I personally don't think this is an acceptable email response to a client worried about not meeting a deadline for their application, based on a mistake Globe made! Guess they have other more important business to be doing! Not once did James actually apologies for the mistake. He proceeded to remind me he isn't charging for this part but the £100 was for my home purchase that fell through. Nice; what a way to treat a client. I'm sure I've used other mortgage advisors who don't charge me but charge the bank, and they still manage to get the job done properly, on time, and haven't caused me this much stress.
3)To add to this, on a new house purchase that we wanted to complete before the stamp duty holiday, which was a deadline we discussed endlessly with James. James proceeded to tell us we won't make the deadline based on the time searches take to complete (costing us £15K). He had no evidence to indicate that our searches were delayed. In fact, I followed this call with James by calling my solicitor who informed me the searches were done. His un-informed advice caused much worry and stress, not needed in a house purchase. Aren't they supposed to me make it easier for us?
I've purchased houses before, and used mortgage advisors. I decided to go with Globe because they seemed to have good reviews. This is an honest review of their poor service. Don't use them, don't trust them, they don't know what they are doing. Happy to share any emails with you if you want more information, but honestly just AVOID all together!
