Google Bad Review:  DO NOT WORK HERE!!! STAY AWAY!

This is one of the worst place to work especially when covering reception duties here to there. Even 30-60 minutes reception cover will drive you mad mainly because of the new manager (who's not even officially a manager by contract but she just wants to make her CV look good).

Little things drive her mad such as going to the toilet for FIVE minutes which is too long for her, unable to pray for FIVE minutes when some staffs go out to have a five minutes smoke, co-receptionist snitches on you and give false/incomplete information to the “manager” about you until you yourself have to clarify the truth on what actually happened, false accusations made against you on the basis of a misunderstanding, they give you far more demanding tasks than what you're paid for.

Also, the telephone software on the PC is extremely bad in a way that we have to requests I.T. support multiple times which disrupts the service and patients' needs especially if their calls are urgent, my former work colleague keeps on taking sick leaves, annual leaves leaving and forcing me to work on my own with all overloaded tasks thrown to me like a splash (despite raising this with my senior, no action was taken), the lists endlessly goes on.

I worked for around 3 months and couldn't take it anymore so I found a better and fairer opportunity elsewhere and left.

I decided to write a review now after leaving on January 2018 as I wanted to move on. But then I realised now that I wouldn't be able to truly move on if I don't raise awareness to potential new staffs. It's better late than never.

Google Good Review:  After a not so great CQC report this trust has changed remarkably. Open and honest management, wide ranging staff support and forums. Expanding as they provide good services, winning contracts from others and they continue to grow in size and expertise.

Google Bad Review:  Worked for nelft trust for nearly 4 years as a student and qualified . Experienced psychological bullying by managers both as a student and as a qualified. No support for junior members of staff in my opinion. No forum to whistle blow without fear of harm to the whistle blowers career.

Senior managers like to congratulate each other on twitter whilst overlooking issues facing front line staff. Recent CQC report cites nelft not ‘well led' and' requires improvement'.

Nelft: Why do you have such a high turnover of staff? Why if you are in the business of caring for service users, why not look after your staff first and not put bullies in management roles? Maybe you would have a happier workforce and have not such a high turnover of staff. I'm sure employing new staff costs quite a bit. If you managed to retain staff then maybe the trust could save some money and reinvest this money specifically in improving client care.

There are some lovely people working for nelft but in my experience they aren't in management roles.

Google Good Review:  After a not so great CQC report this trust has changed remarkably. Open and honest management, wide ranging staff support and forums. Expanding as they provide good services, winning contracts from others and they continue to grow in size and expertise.

Google Bad Review:  Worked for nelft trust for nearly 4 years as a student and qualified . Experienced psychological bullying by managers both as a student and as a qualified. No support for junior members of staff in my opinion. No forum to whistle blow without fear of harm to the whistle blowers career.

Senior managers like to congratulate each other on twitter whilst overlooking issues facing front line staff. Recent CQC report cites nelft not ‘well led' and' requires improvement'.

Nelft: Why do you have such a high turnover of staff? Why if you are in the business of caring for service users, why not look after your staff first and not put bullies in management roles? Maybe you would have a happier workforce and have not such a high turnover of staff. I'm sure employing new staff costs quite a bit. If you managed to retain staff then maybe the trust could save some money and reinvest this money specifically in improving client care.

There are some lovely people working for nelft but in my experience they aren't in management roles.
