Google Bad Review 1: Incredibly poor customer service. The staff have an air of false competence, when they are mostly absolutely clueless. We queried about one of their supposed “classic” belts, but the staff weren’t able to even identify what metal the buckle was made of, what part of the calf the leather trim came from and how the leather was treated. At one point, they even tried to claim it was gold, but when pushed they caved and said it was gold coloured “obviously”, and that you couldn’t get gold for such a (frankly overpriced) price.
To cover their incompetence, they mask it with an air or condescending tone. Very unfriendly to tourist – absolutely avoid this boutique!
We ultimately bought the product (since my partner had an eye on it for a while) but they’ve definitely left us with a sour taste. Spend your money online, don’t even bother engaging with these unqualified buffoons. Completely wrecked our purchasing experience and utterly unhelpful.
Also, very deceptive marketing on their end. Supposedly you have a “lifetime aftercare service”, but when we asked specifics – again, the draft mentioned that it was actually more like 2-3 years. When asked what exactly the timeframe for free aftercare service, same answer 2-3 years. It is either 2 or 3, not in between. The staff couldn’t even let us know what damages were covered (outside obvious ones like us cutting or tearing the belt completely).
