Google Bad Review:  This is my 5th revision of this review as the responses have devolved to attacking me as a person, suggesting my concerns are petty and pointless, on top of falsified responses. This final revision is just going to list out the facts of why this negative review has been left. I am glad since the first review attempt the website has been updated to now be more transparent about the raised issues.

On cancellation of membership I received only the following message with greetings:
- “That’s fine, I can cancel the payments from my side”

There was no indication my membership would continue. There was no offer to continue training ,which the owner has claimed I was offered and turned down in previous responses, since edited out. Only the aforementioned message (screenshot attached). There was at this point no information (yes I checked as I was looking to see if I could cancel online) on the site stating any cancellation terms.

26 days after cancellation I had another payment taken for the following month which I assumed was in error after they message saying my payments would be cancelled.

On contact with the owner I was told there was a 30 day cancellation policy. I was told this was conveyed to me verbally in the trial session some months prior. There was at this time still no written cancellation policy anywhere on the site or conveyed in writing, nor written anywhere during the sign up process and setting up of direct debit. Just the instructors words.

I am glad to have left this review as since leaving it the owner has updated the website validating the reason the review was left. And thankfully now the other members I have spoken with (so not just me in the dark), are also aware of this so they do not fall into the trap I have.

I am sorry you find my concerns “petty and pointless”, however seeing the changes have been made it is has had sa good outcome.

I would suggest being more clear in the future, and ensuring you site is up to date at all times with your cancellation policy, convey the terms of cancellation in your communication, not just saying payment will be cancelled, and don’t to blame the member for not being able to know information that wasn’t there.

The classes themselves at Bushin were enjoyable and a good workout so it is sad to have left on this note.
