Google Bad Review 1:  Two cold calls in three days asking me to participate in a “survey”, latest call at 8:00pm. Why can't these obnoxious companies leave me, and other people alone, especially after I clearly stated that I do not want to participate – ever?

The amazing thing is that this company states that they are representing the UK government. Presumably they are costing you and me a fortune in tax simply to annoy us with ongoing cold calls.

I'd like to post a zero review but, unfortunately, IFF don't allow that.

The recruitment and training staff speak to potential employees like dirt. The “training” consists of the recruiters reading applicants a script and then sending recruits onto live calls which they listen into.

My live trial wasted four days out of my life. Number one a really obnoxious trainer who told me I had already had extensive training on using webex video and should be able to set it up by now. Extensive training meant one call a week earlier. He refused to continue the test. Second one was a much friendlier guy but he did get uppery whenever anyone asked a question. After three hours of setting up and listening to him read the script my connection dropped for three minutes and I was thrown out of training for rescheduling again. I was asked to reschedule but the recruitment team never got back to me. I finally did get a date and time I waited for over an hour for them to start the session but they Didnt contact me, I messaged the recruitment team did not reply to my calls or messages.

My final attempt was a nightmare, I was just thrown onto live calls I was fine talking to participants but the system they use was slow and no matter what info I would input the trainer made negative comments on instant message. The messages were constant and would disappear before I could read them and so distracting whilst trying to speak to participants. I had not had any opportunity to use the computer system how could I get it right first time like they expected? She used slang terms for the screens like “outcomes screen” which meant nothing to me and then she moaned when I opened the wrong screen. She was constantly instant messaging me with stupid stuff like “ask her to spell the name” this was bleeding obvious I don't need that kind of advice or interruption.

The final straw came when the scripts did not load and I was left floundering on two successive calls. Both times I clicked for the scripts to load and was disconnected from the call this was not my fault. She then implied I was making a right mess of it and that I must “pay attention”. That was enough for me, I went into the Instant messenger and told her that her bad attitude was not helpful neither was being told to pay attention when I had received no technical training on how to use the system the calls dropped through no fault of my own. I just ended the session there and then. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being spoken to like a child and reprimanded by someone who has probably never done anything more demanding than telemarketing in their entire life.
