Google Bad Review 1:  No slander, just facts.

My partner booked Chantelle for her bridal party makeup and paid the “non refundable” deposit of £100 to secure services on the wedding day.

From that point onwards, Chantelle was flakey and hard to get hold of on WhatsApp or the phone. This does nothing but cause trepidation and fear about what may or may not happen on the big day. There was no consistency in the responses. Chantelle assured that everything would be ok though.

With this assurance given, my partner booked and attended the trial costing a further £90 but was unfortunately very disappointed with the result. She felt the products used weren't of a standard suitable for a wedding and felt she could do a better job herself. Granted, to Chantelle's credit she offered another trial for free of charge but this poor experience along with the lead up to the trail had tainted the relationship as my partner had no confidence in Chantelle whatsoever, we had completely lost all faith in her.

Subsequently, we have had to cancel for peace of mind and take business elsewhere and my partner has now found an artist who fulfills all of her expectations and requirements.

There's no offer of a refund for the deposit or trial paid for based on the fact that the services are not fit for purpose.

Google Bad Review (2):  If I could give 0 stars I would. Lovely lady but awful communicator and awful service. I booked Chantelle for mink lashes for my 2 sisters, my mum and myself. I did not ask for a deal for 4 people, happy to pay full amount as I thought it would be worth the money. Chantelle took 30-35 minutes doing my lashes and literally 20 minutes doing my mums. Only one of my sisters were happy with her lashes- she took 1 hour doing hers. I contacted her 2 days later to let her know that our lashes were already falling out, she was not interested in the slightest to take time out of her busy schedule to ensure her customers were happy. I then contacted her a week or so later to ask when she was free and she let me know she was on holiday for the next 2 week and at no point did she suggest she would sort them out when she's back. She now doesn't reply to my messages to sort out our lashes, having blocked my number. Really awful, over-priced service. Had she originally sorted our lashes out, i'm sure we would be happy with her and recommended her to others, but obviously she doesn't care- very happy to take the £320 though.
