Edit in response to the owners reply: the issue was brought to your attention. As I mentioned before, the boy (tall and wearing a white hoodie) serving me was *very rude* and would not accept responsibility for the damage. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that “the manager isn't here… you can wait but the manager won't help you… I am in charge”.

Google Bad Review (2):  Had my shoes repaired for 30£ if someone have eyes can see the quality, Absolutley Rubbish and of course they don't accept complain instead they say if u knew wearing 1time the back shoes damage u shouldn't wear 2nd time. So basically i send my shoes for repair, and paid for the cheap quality, after repaired i ONLY can wear 1time. And chop in the bins after that, is what the counter try to say or pay 30£ doing again. They Just destroy my shoes. They might good in wash, but shoes no experiences of ages.

However upon our visit today we were quoted £35 to wash 3 towels and a set of bedding – £35!?! Checked on Amazon and I can buy all brand new for less than that. Exploitation based upon monopoly…no thanks. Smart Clean – wise up!

Google Bad Review 1:  I spent one hour of my time explaining how delicate and valuable my tablecloths where (bought in Italy from a luxury shop).
The result was that they used bleach and completely ruined the color even if during the meeting they reassured me they would not!
I asked for a refund but they said if I wanted the money back they would keep the clothes (worth hounded pounds more than the refund suggested).
I thought this was very unprofessional and ended up loosing my money and the value of my clothes. Horrible experience

Fake promises were made that they are searching and will call back as soon as they would find the trouser. It has been 2-3 months of consistent follow ups and no communication from their end. The owner went on holiday and the lady at the reception made the same promise a bazillion times that she will have him call back. Even if they don't find the trouser, the least is a call back apology is what I would have expected. Clearly none of that happened and I am writing this review, utterly disappointed and appalled by the behaviour. I dropped 4 of my husband's trousers on a Thursday and were due to collect them on Tuesday of the week after. We stay few yards from the shop so literally following up on the item was convenient whenever I passed by the store but fake promises of a call back is all what you will get in return for irresponsibility.

Failed to mention when I handed in the dress that it's not actually suitable for the type of cleaning they were going to do. Worst of all, they couldn't care less and were totally unapologetic.
