Google Bad Review 1: ‪It’s a good news that you are opening your stores .. unfortunately I visited your regent street home concept store .. was browsing and it was 18:00 I went upstairs and the staff literally shouted at me with Duhh look “STORE IS CLOSED “ then reiterated three times by hand actions ‬ Obviously I won’t ever visit the store again but just for future reference invest in a sound system like a normal store and may be announce that the store is closed or till are closing so your employees don’t use sign language and shouting at customers at the same time

Google Bad Review (2): Really disappointed with customer service – did not expect to be treated this way after trying to exchange some home items. Due to Covid there was a big delay in moving home so only got to actually try out and use stuff I had bought in summer from H&M home, I wanted to return some curtains that were too see through for thicker ones – however I tried to explain my situation to the cashier and then to manager but both just could not try and make an exception for my current circumstance, I would have hoped better service as I have had nice Customer service experience before from other H&M stores, I specially was annoyed at the manager who was not the least helpful, I really hope there would be a sense of Understanding at the fact Covid has caused problems like mine to happen so should at least be flexible with exchanges on items in original packing that had not been used or Damaged.

Google Bad Review 1: Below is my experience with Cult Furniture:

I have ordered my dining table (£399) and four dining chairs (£99 each) + £40 for delivery on 22 November 2018.

I immediately rang their customer services and asked if it could be delivered on a Saturday. The advisor said they don't do Saturday deliveries so we agreed to get it delivered on Friday, 14 December, for which I took a day off work.

On 14 December I have received my dining table that was damaged. No chairs (???). Rang customer services who apologised and Johanna reassured me that a replacement will be sent on 22 December and that I can throw away the damaged one. Receiving my order in time for Christmas was my main request. They also said that the chairs will come in a separate delivery later that day (meaning I had to spend all day at home waiting for separate deliveries).

Finally, on the same day the chairs have arrived. Two out of four. Ripped and wobbly (see pictures). But where are the other two..? Rang their customer services again. Probably for the fifth time that day. Said it was sent and is with DPD. Rang DPD. They said it will arrive on Saturday 15 December, as Cult Furniture sent them out as separate orders, two chairs per box. So at this point my single order has turned into three separate ones. Finally received my chairs.

The table that was supposed to arrive on 22 December never came. Rang their customer services and turns out they are closed on weekends. Thought OK, knowing them it might arrive on Monday 24 December. Rang on Monday to check and nope, they are now closed until the 27th. So in the end spent my Christmas without a dining table that was promised.

Rang them again today (27 December 2018) to see what is going on. Martina said my table will arrive within an hour (that was never arranged and I was going to leave the house after the call). Few minutes later the courier delivered a parcel that was chairs, still no table. Rang Cult Furniture again. The customer assistant said that parcel was an actual dining table (a box that is 60x60x60cm)!! After being on hold for just under half an hour they still couldn't explain where my dining table was. At that point I have requested a full refund as I have no more patience to deal with this company anymore. I have also requested acknowledgement from management twice but been ignored.

As you can see, they have major internal communication and operational issues but judging from other customer's reviews it seems that they are not taking it seriously and I genuinely don't believe that these five star reviews are not made up by the company.

I would strongly suggest you go elsewhere if you want decent quality and hassle free experience. I myself will never ever use Cult Furniture nor recommend them to anyone else.

Google Bad Review (2): In thirty years of owning property and consequently having to deal with scores of outside suppliers – builders, kitchen installers, roofers etc etc – Brookmans is undoubtedly the worst company I have ever dealt with: inept, incapable of accepting responsibility, casually rude, uncommunicative, evasive, defensive and just plain atrocious. Highlight: one of their people turning up drunk on the day installation only to tell me I couldn't have the tops I'd ordered FOR A MONTH, thus taking me well past my move in date and thus me having to re-negotiate my deal with my builder (who couldn't finish his job until the tops were installed). This news, by the way, was delivered with an insolent, sloppy grin. Avoid at all costs. Run rapidly away from these losers. How would you react to the threat of a rabid crocodile being introduced into your house? You'd do literally anything to prevent it. Brookmans: just think of them as a rabid crocodile. And a slightly drunk one at that.

Google Bad Review (2): Terrible experience with the Kentish Town store. Unprofessional and incredibly poor service, they messed me around for months. I had to push back all my builders/plumbers/electricians as they couldn’t sort out a simple plan even though they had months to do so. Avoid. I wish I used a different store and service. I received the wrong items and was over-charged for materials that were not needed or asked for. Two stars just because the materials that were right send to be good quality.
