Google Bad Review 1:  EDIT: went to Bonds in Brentwood, half the price, better service and beautiful ring resize whilst done on site in 1hr vs over a week quoted at LoL!

Very shocked to have received the service I did today. Came away nearly crying.

I came here based on all the wonderful reviews I had read and heard about Lord of London.

I called in advance and spoke to a lady who advised me to come into the shop. She was very nice and helpful. I had a watch and a ring to be valued. She did advise me to bring in as much paper work as possible and I informed her I had that for the ring but not for the watch. She said it was fine and advised me to still come in.

I came in, met a male, maybe Russel? Not sure. He was very unnecessarily blunt and cold with me. “I can’t value that without paperwork”. Ok I said. “I can’t give you any recommendations about resizing your ring”. Ok I said. Then when I chose a size he gave me a receipt just saying “ring resize”. I asked him if he could just write the details down of the ring on my copy of the receipt so that I’ve got a copy of acknowledgment of the ring that I’m leaving with him. He said “never mind I don’t want the job now”. I said I’m really shocked because I thought the service would be really nice here but you’ve been really blunt and rude with me. He said ok well have a nice day.

I’m just baffled, truly.
