Google Bad Review:  The experience that stopped me staying in Premier Inns. This is the feedback I submitted and Premier Inn haven't honoured their good night's sleep promise at all.

I stayed in November for 3 nights. The first night was fine, then we barely slept the second night because the extraction was so poor that the room was damp and humid. We requested to move room the following morning and we were told that if we packed our bags, these would be moved, We hastily did this so that we could get a new room.,

We got back to the hotel after dinner with friends at probably 11pm. The staff room next to the lobby was full of relatively young people drinking and talking, with the door wide open. The desk was not manned. When someone did eventually bother to come out, he was then interrupted by someone who emerged from the staff room for a chat – something he did not discourage. By this stage I was irritated at this man's rude behaviour so I assumed that he was a very junior employee who just didn't care. We later found out that this was the hotel manager. He eventually did his job but then said that we had not been moved and asked who we'd spoken to. I didn't have a clue who we had spoken to, or frankly how blaming someone would help us get a new room. Eventually he got us a new room, but no one is in the mood for this nonsense at past 11pm when the have work the next day.

Because no one was expected in this new room, it was made up but was freezing, dirty (strange stains on the walls and hairs all over the place) and several things were broken including the kettle which did not switch off when the water had boiled.

We reported this the following morning (see attached photo of the notes taken by the man on the front desk) and he said that customer services would be in touch – he said he couldn't enter this directly into the computer which seemed odd.

I'm assuming that the manager told him not to enter the complaint and thought we wouldn't follow up.

Absolute shambles.
