Google Bad Review 1:  The average rating of 4.5 is not justified based on our experience. We lunched on Sunday, the starters were reasonable, perhaps 3 out of 5. I had to call the waiter to take our plates used for the starters, and he indicated to re-use them for the mains – this is not the usual practice!!
As for the mains 2 dishes – paneer makhni and palek tofu – came out barely warm, cold actually. Asked them to warm them up, which came back within 50 seconds having been warmed in a microwave – the food itself was warm not hot!! Using a microwave is a definite No No.

As for the palek tofu, it was served with cut pieces of raw tofu laid on top of the palek – completely horrified. This is never the way to serve palek tofu – Namaste Holborn, if you do not know how to cook any dishes please do not include in the menu as this is most unfair and unreasonable to offering / serving such dishes to your customers.

First and last visit to this restaurant.

Planned this evening in advance, making an effort to travel into central London for a 7pm booking.
What a total disappointment. We were led downstairs to a completely empty restaurant. It smelled disgusting. No tables were laid out. No music. Only an atmosphere of bad decor and an attempt at making it smell half decent with an electric diffuser.
If the food resembled what we witnessed, then god save us all.
Suffice it to say we spent exactly 5 minutes before deciding to save ourselves from total disaster.
The manager’s half hearted attempt at making us feel welcome was embarrassing to watch.
