Google Bad Review:  My father was referred via NHS to this hospital. He attended and the consultant told him he will send the prescription to our surgery. After 3 weeks we followed up with the surgery. They called and were told that we need yo wait 6 weeks in total for a simple prescription to be issued (I bet private patients are issued with one on the spot). We waited and waited and after another month or so we went again to the surgery. They called again the hospital and have been told some excuse and that they will issue one shortly.
Nothing was issued.
A week ago I called the hospital and raised this as a complaint. I was passed onto a manager who said she needs to find from the consultant what happened and she will get back to me. Guess what, she also disappeared. Shame on you all: the consultant, his secretary and the manager that was dealing with the complaint. I bet if my father had been a private patient you will be running around and sorted this within hours. Shame on you all.
PS: after 5 month waiting the prescription was never issued. Will also be putting a complaint against the hospital to the NHS directly.

After 3 weeks we followed up with the surgery. They called and were told that we need yo wait 6 weeks in total for a simple prescription to be issued (I bet private patients are issued with one on the spot). We waited and waited and after another month or so we went again to the surgery. They called again the hospital and have been told some excuse and that they will issue one shortly.
Nothing was issued.
A week ago I called the hospital and raised this as a complaint. I was passed onto a manager who said she needs to find from the consultant what happened and she will get back to me. Guess what, she also disappeared. Shame on you all: the consultant, his secretary and the manager that was dealing with the complaint. I bet if my father had been a private patient you will be running around and sorted this within hours. Shame on you all.
PS: after 5 month waiting the prescription was never issued. Will also be putting a complaint against the hospital to the NHS directly.

Google Bad Review (2):  Disappointed. Been attending this hospital apt for over 15 years. I am a private patient. You used to get such good service here.
You could see your surgeon . Have a scan then bloods the same day. Then just book in to see your surgeon. Know you will have to book ultra one day mri one day bloods one day then book in to see surgeon. You have to wait for weeks some times for a scan . This is not private anymore. The service is beyond pathetic know. You struggle to get surgeon apts . Same issue with scans. You are just told there is nothing t. hey cat Well the fact is they can. They can give there priavte patients priory. As it's a priavte hospital. They have taken so many nhs patients just for money that us priavte patients are suffering. They have no system in place for us to have treatment faster then nhs. I have been paying 15k for my health insurance. I went to my gp on monday and he said I need you to have a scan. I can get you in the spire in 2 weeks. I was shocked. Why am I paying for private when it's so easy to get this on the nhs. It's all about money for them. After 15 years it's like a kick in the theeth. I called and complaint to be told there is a massive burden on the healthcare due to covid. This is why I go private so I dont have to wait. Very sad and disappointed. They need to change there marketing to say private and nhs. About 60 percent of their clients are nhs. I know this from speaking to people in the waiting room. Everytime I chat to someone they are from the NHS. Very sad and it's about money for them not service. No loyalty to there long standing private patients. If I have to wait 2 weeks to have a scan or see a surgeon it's not private. The last time I managed to get a cancellation and get in 2 days earlier. The time I was only offered 8.30am. The time I feel worse due to my meds and health issue. My insurance company and me have spent about 100k if not over at this place. Not impressed about them pushing us back to get nhs patients in. Also I know all surgeons do not see NHS but the ones I have tried to book with or have do. Monday left 2 ultra sound tests was promised will be called on tue surprise its wed no call and I'm chasing the. This is private??? Private joke. I left paperwork for my scan was promised to be called tue know wed rag hospital and the staff in radiologist dept was so rude. She said we have been waiting for the radiologist to call us back he has not. What the hell ???I explained I'm a priavte patient and this is not competent behaviour from him. Where she said well your not the only priavte patient also he is very busy. What??? I'm in so much pain and he has not rang them back. Hence my apt can not be booked. Just shocking. I will lodge a written complaint about this not that they will do much. Hence all the 1 stars. .

Guess what, she also disappeared. Shame on you all: the consultant, his secretary and the manager that was dealing with the complaint. I bet if my father had been a private patient you will be running around and sorted this within hours. Shame on you all.
PS: after 5 month waiting the prescription was never issued. Will also be putting a complaint against the hospital to the NHS directly.

Google Bad Review (2):  Disappointed. Been attending this hospital apt for over 15 years. I am a private patient. You used to get such good service here.
You could see your surgeon . Have a scan then bloods the same day. Then just book in to see your surgeon. Know you will have to book ultra one day mri one day bloods one day then book in to see surgeon. You have to wait for weeks some times for a scan . This is not private anymore. The service is beyond pathetic know. You struggle to get surgeon apts . Same issue with scans. You are just told there is nothing t. hey cat Well the fact is they can. They can give there priavte patients priory. As it's a priavte hospital. They have taken so many nhs patients just for money that us priavte patients are suffering. They have no system in place for us to have treatment faster then nhs. I have been paying 15k for my health insurance. I went to my gp on monday and he said I need you to have a scan. I can get you in the spire in 2 weeks. I was shocked. Why am I paying for private when it's so easy to get this on the nhs. It's all about money for them. After 15 years it's like a kick in the theeth. I called and complaint to be told there is a massive burden on the healthcare due to covid. This is why I go private so I dont have to wait. Very sad and disappointed. They need to change there marketing to say private and nhs. About 60 percent of their clients are nhs. I know this from speaking to people in the waiting room. Everytime I chat to someone they are from the NHS. Very sad and it's about money for them not service. No loyalty to there long standing private patients. If I have to wait 2 weeks to have a scan or see a surgeon it's not private. The last time I managed to get a cancellation and get in 2 days earlier. The time I was only offered 8.30am. The time I feel worse due to my meds and health issue. My insurance company and me have spent about 100k if not over at this place. Not impressed about them pushing us back to get nhs patients in. Also I know all surgeons do not see NHS but the ones I have tried to book with or have do. Monday left 2 ultra sound tests was promised will be called on tue surprise its wed no call and I'm chasing the. This is private??? Private joke. I left paperwork for my scan was promised to be called tue know wed rag hospital and the staff in radiologist dept was so rude. She said we have been waiting for the radiologist to call us back he has not. What the hell ???I explained I'm a priavte patient and this is not competent behaviour from him. Where she said well your not the only priavte patient also he is very busy. What??? I'm in so much pain and he has not rang them back. Hence my apt can not be booked. Just shocking. I will lodge a written complaint about this not that they will do much. Hence all the 1 stars. .
