Google Bad Review 1: An old fashioned solicitors firm that operates with outdated procedures. The problem is too many miscommunications and mistakes from staff. We brought a house and used this firm on the advice from our estate agent. I was not given any details of the solicitor dealing with the case except his email address. Nearly all the enquiries from the client are dealt with the solicitors admin staff. You email the solicitor, the solicitor does not respond to your enquiries by email instead he (Martyn Santer) records his response on a dictaphone machine and then passes the tape over to his admin staff who then type out the response (after listening to the tape) and then the admin staff send out an email back to the client. Problem is this process can take a few days by the time you hear back from them and they make too many mistakes and typos especially with regards to dates. Worse still, they ask you to sign all documents in person in their office which I later found out most other law firms don't do these days. They mislead me by offering me a fixed price service from the start but instead they charged me by the minute which worked out twice the amount from what they quoted at the beginning. When I went to their office a lady called Chris Loader opened the door, no greeting or anything just opened the door and went back to her desk. Whilst waiting I could hear Chris continously using horrible foul language on the phone to someone in open office (appeared to be a personal call rather than work related). A very rude and unprofessional individual with no manners. In summary poor overall service and I do not recommend this service.
