Google Bad Review (2):  Absolutely dreadful experience.

Me and my fiance arrived at the location with the intent of looking at the IONIQ 5. Once we arrived, we weren't greeted by anyone (not a problem), so we decided to go and have a look at the car by ourselves until someone would come over to assist, which is what our normal experiences have been in car showrooms.

After spending 15 minutes sitting down by the car, and a further 20 inside it, we decided to call it a day as it was clear we were not going to be assisted.

I decided to go to the front desk to ask the receptionist (who was busy playing games on his phone) if there is anyone that we could talk to. “We don't do walk-ins. Only appointments. Do you have an appointment?” he said in quite a condescending, and abrupt tone. He was also like this for the rest of the exchange. I said we do not, at which point I was met with “I'm sorry but we are very busy”. Now this would be completely fine (minus his tone and demeanor), if he offered to organise an appointment for us…which he didn't. He went on to ask “What do you need help with?”. I explained that we are looking at EV's and the IONIQ 5 caught our eye. “What do you want to know?” he responded. I explained that I would like to know what the car does, what makes it special, why should I buy this over a Tesla, just as examples of questions I want answered. His answer, and I am not twisting this in any way, was this: “Because it's Electric and the best car on the planet.” At this point I was completely done with him, so I just laughed and walked out.

Is this really how Hyundai is treating their customers? What an absolute joke. I think i'll just pop over to Ford, Kia, or Tesla and give them my custom.
