Google Bad Review 1:  Received a quote from West Clean for an end of tenancy clean which I confirmed with Marlon, arranged timings etc. The day before (a Sunday and therefore too late to find another cleaner) Marlon decided that he had “misquoted” and due to an increase in demand that he would need to increase the amount he was charging. Extortionate and unprofessional and I refused to engage with it!

Google Bad Review (2):  Guys I would like to share my experience with West Clean. It is only fair as I chose this cleaning company based on google reviews. The service I requested was for end of tenancy cleaning. From the moment I called to the final booking and paid for the service, the process was okay. But due to circumstances change, I had to cancel the appointment and that was 2 days before the appointment date. On the invoice I got sent, it says, 24 hours cancellation is guaranteed. Firstly, West Clean said, it would only issue 50% refund, due to lost of other clients service (??) and time spent on making the booking (it is part of business!). Then I said, I feel obliged to accept the unwanted service, and do not want to lose half of the fund for no reason. So i decided to keep the appointment. Finally, he replied, he would actually refund all…. I chased and waited for a number of days before refund was issued.

So I would say, just be very careful on when you pay, as it can be very stressful getting the refund entitled. I had to call Citizen Advice to understand my right.
