Google Bad Review 1:  We had a small 60-person wedding which Heena & her team catered for.

In the run up to the wedding, we were a bit concerned by the lack of contact & organisation, but kept reassuring ourselves that the food on the day will be amazing.

Unfortunately on the day, there were loads of details that had been forgotten. Three examples I will give – we had agreed for mixed poppadoms on the table, so were disappointed when sitting down to see that it was plain cheap tasting ones only. Second example was that we’d paid for mixed chutneys to accompany the poppadoms, but only got lime pickle. When we asked the waiting staff if we could get others (mango, raita, etc), they just brought out more lime pickle. That was a shame as not all our guests were keen on that, so ended up eating plain poppadoms. Last example I’ll give (there are more) was that they didn’t top up the rice or naan throughout the meal, so by the time the daal had arrived on the table (which was significantly after everything else), no one had anything to eat it with.

We’d worked so hard on the wedding, it was our special day, and this part was the only bit that let us down. We contacted Heena a week after the wedding, she said she’d call us, but a month later…. she never did.

A final note – the food was delicious, but the lack of attention to detail & poor communication let us down.
