Google Bad Review:  (Translated by Google) A family of five can be accommodated here quite well and relatively inexpensively. We had the family room with its own bathroom. It was a bit tight with five people, but since we were out most of the time, that didn't really matter. A satellite TV (which we didn't use, so I can't say anything about the receivable channels) is also in the room.

The landlady was nice and organized the simple but definitely sufficient breakfast (cornflakes, toast, juice, sausage, cheese, jam, coffee, tea, etc.) and always made sure to keep things fresh. At breakfast you also get to know the other guests, as everyone is sitting at the same table. Breakfast was from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

In the hallway there is a refrigerator (shared with the other rooms) for your own drinks etc. In the basement you can use a kind of shared living room in addition to the breakfast room.

Contrary to previous reviews, the landlord now also accepts credit cards for payment.

The area around the property is a typical London residential area that we found to be quiet and pleasant. The walk to the subway took about 7-8 minutes. From there you can take the Jubilee Line in a good 20 minutes without changing trains, for example to WESTMINSTER. If you want to save a little on transport costs in London, you can get on / off at the KILBURN station. This is still in zone 2 and is also a little closer to the accommodation. There are a few pubs, restaurants and shops here. The other possible station, WILLESDEN GREEN, is already in Zone 3. There are also smaller shops here.

If you arrive via GATWICK, it is best to change to the Jubilee Line in LONDON BRIDGE. The complete transfer from the airport to the accommodation takes around 80 to 120 minutes.

Für eine fünfköpfige Familie kommt man hier ganz gut und relativ preiswert unter. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Es war zwar etwas eng zu fünft, da wir aber letztlich die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren, störte das nicht sonderlich. Ein SAT-TV (welches wir nicht genutzt haben, deshalb kann ich auch nichts zu den empfangbaren Sendern sagen) steht auch im Zimmer.

Die Vermieterin war nett und hat das einfache aber definitiv ausreichende Frühstück (Cornflakes, Toast, Saft, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Kaffee, Tee etc.) gut organisiert und stets für Nachschub gesorgt. Beim Frühstück lernt man auch die anderen Gäste kennen, da alle gemeinsam an einem Tisch sitzen. Frühstück war von 08:00 bis 09:30 Uhr.

Im Flur steht ein Kühlschrank (gemeinsam mit den anderen Zimmern) für eigene Getränke etc. zur Verfügung. Im Untergeschoss kann man neben dem Frühstücksraum auch eine Art gemeinsames Wohnzimmer nutzen.

Die Vermieterin akzeptiert inzwischen entgegen vorherigen Beurteilungen auch Kreditkarten zur Bezahlung.

Die Gegend um die Unterkunft ist eine typische Londoner Wohngegend, die wir als ruhig und angenehm empfunden haben. Der Fußweg zur U-Bahn hat etwa 7 – 8 Minuten gedauert. Von dort aus ist man mittels der Jubilee Line in guten 20 Minuten ohne umsteigen bspw. in WESTMINSTER. Wer ein wenig bei den Transportkosten in London sparen möchte, steigt für die Unterkunft in der Station KILBURN ein/aus. Die liegt noch in Zone 2 und ist auch etwas näher zur Unterkunft gelegen. Hier gibt es einige Pubs, Restaurants und Geschäfte. Die andere mögliche Station WILLESDEN GREEN liegt schon in Zone 3. Hier finden sich aber auch kleinere Geschäfte.

Wer über GATWICK anreist, steigt am besten in LONDON BRIDGE in die Jubilee Line um. So dauert der komplette Transfer vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft insgesamt etwa 80 bis 120 Minuten.
