Google Bad Review (2):  Disappointed, we booked several months ago to attend the Charlie and the chocolate factory afternoon tea on 2nd March, along with with booking a theatre show afterwards. On Feb 18th I received a call advising me the booking was to be cancelled due to a large event now happening which was not known about at the time of my booking. Only a reschedule was offered but given that this was a whole day in London planned that wasn’t going to work. We would have been happy with being in another room, but can only assume a corporate company has gone in at short notice to offer money for the whole place. Cancelling 12 days before our due date was extremely disappointing.

Lack of communication within the team specially the spa is a disaster they dint have any idea what was going on .the room and the food was good. But the spa was a layback we had great expectations from this place but it was one of the bad decision ever . The wifi and the network was poor .the staff dint care if we had any issues with anything .the team really needs to work on their approach towards their guest and have proper information to pass on ,overall it was a sad atmosphere.was a waste would never return again and would not recommend at all

Google Bad Review (2):  Had an afternoon tea and spa afternoon, the afternoon tea was fine but the staff weren't very attentive and as you couldn't go up to the bar it was hard to get anyones attention when you needed anything. The spa itself was very busy and certainly no social distancing, in fact one large group were sharing beds as there wasn't enough! We were in the spa approx 4 hours and even though there were cup lids and dirty towels on the floor and several of the toilets didn't have any toilet rolls in them, this wasnt addressed. I would expect this to have been picked up in a cleaning regime in normal times let alone when we are in the middle of a pandemic!
