Google Bad Review 1:  Overcooked fish, gummy chips, and an overall unsavoury experience. Fish also has the skin left on, which we dislike. Tartar sauce is a surcharge of .4£ a packet. Chips are not included either (though the menu doesn't say that and no price is listed anywhere for chips (they cost 2£). This wasn't the worst fish and chips I've ever had, but it was somewhere near the bottom.

Worst of all, we had the misfortune of going close to opening and got to witness an obviously sick employee (sniffling, coughing, sneezing) wiping his snot and coughs away with his bare hands *whilst bundling the silverware and napkins*. Made us very, very glad to be getting takeaway. This is unsanitary.

Perhaps we were there on an off day. That could explain the quality of the fish and chips. It cannot explain the inexcusable hygiene practices.

I'd personally look for your fish-and-chips fix elsewhere.

Google Bad Review (2):  Used to be the best. Slowly it has deteriorated. Eventually tonight I had to bin the lot. I was offered a chip to Taste if I was ok with the chips there. The chip I tested was far from the ones served. As was the dry battered sausage. I won’t be going back again
