Google Bad Review:  Very bad customer service. While Christmas shopping, I went in to have my glasses tightened as they had become loose with time. The man seemed annoyed with me for even asking. He eventually served me (after I had confirmed that my glasses came from Boots) but actually ruined my glasses! He returned them even looser and angled. When I (and my appalled partner) said that, of course, it was not good he just pressed the glasses against my face as if it was going to make them fit by magic. It hurt ad didn't fix anything. I left puzzled and angry. I went to another Boots to have them fixed, again. The lady who served me was shocked. The glasses were so strongly bent outward that they can't be properly fixed and I need new ones. This is unacceptable! The man in the Bond Street branch was not only rude and unhelpful, he was also totally incompetent and I now have to pay for his mistake!

Google Bad Review:  Re-made my glasses literally 3 times and visited the shop 10 times and i still yet to get my refund! The first time, they cut the lens with the wrong focal point. I paid extra for a pair of Zeiss lens. It was such a low-tech mistake and they should have QC-ed it before they sent back to the store. The shopkeeper keeps blaming me bringing prescriptions from another company repeatedly but it is completely irrelevant to their own mistakes. So they offered to re-do the eye test and re-make the glasses. It took me another extra 1.5 hour on another day to do the eye test which obviously share very similar results. They made the 2nd pair of glasses that the index of the material was not suitable that the chromatic aberration was very horrible! I couldn’t even see car plates and buses on the streets. They kept asking me to wear them for a couple of days for my eyes to get used to it. It was not working at all. I went back again. The ‘experienced guy’ asked me to bring my old glasses. It was another visit again. They examined my old and new glasses, and checked my eyes again. Then they made the 3rd pair of glasses but there were still chromatic aberration that i could see it in every direction. I went back and asked for help. They said they still wanted to change the lens! I asked for a refund and they said only one person is able to authorise a refund and he is not present until 2-3days later. I went there 2 days later before the shop closes and they said that person with the authority left 1.5 hours before and blaming me not organising with them. I called the next day asking about my refund situation and another staff said authorisation can be done remotely even without that guy being present! I’ve been wearing prescription glasses for over 25 yrs and this has been the worst service I have ever encountered!

Google Bad Review:  Very disappointing experience with this shop today. The owner convinced me to come in for an eye test (not needed). I only have reading glasses, but I have them Varifocal as I need a slight addition for long sited. After my last eye test in 2019 I went back at the end of 2021. The owner made a slight adjustment to my long sited prescription. I had new glasses made from another shop but used my new eye test results. I took the glasses on holiday and had blurred vision. I went back to Lensology who asked me to bring in my old 2019 glasses, which are absolutely fine. They determined that all measurements were correct on there behalf and suggested that my eye test was incorrect. Lensology said they will happily make any adjustments for free including priority shipping. It was clear that the eye test was incorrect as my old glasses were perfect. Vision express tested my eyes and said that by adding a lesser lense my vision was fine. This meant the eye test was indeed incorrect. They offered no apology or future discount. I have been so inconvenienced by this and feel let down. They started to talk about legal issues and legislation. I would of been happy with them taking responsibility! Very poor/cheap business attitude. To think this was the manager who made the error. I said to them you have lost a long standing client goodbye. I will never use the shop again, they don’t have any integrity. They make mistakes and take zero responsibility. Very poor attitude indeed!
