Google Bad Review (2):  The food wasn’t bad at all so if your coming here for the food then no problem. You’ll enjoy it! However I witnessed and experience something quite disturbing to say the least which made my time here a bad one. The employees at Cafe In The Crypt are quite badly mannered and frankly quite rude. I was served by this blonde Hair lady and a dark hair tall girl and they were both unbelievably rude. I advise you to stay away from being served by these two! They were disinterested and kept shouting at me THE CUSTOMER when I couldn’t understand them. I was outstounded. Quite shocked to be honest.

I also walked past and overheard a blonde lady who looked like the supervisor of the team. I saw the way she shouted and publicly embarrassed the young black girl in front of the other staff. It was quite disrespectful and from looking at the girl I could tell her confidence was absolutely shattered. I asked the girl if she was new and gave her a few words of encouragement as that is unacceptable. I’ve come to this place 3 times and every time I’ve seen the new young staff members absolutely tortured with disrespect. My visit prior to this I saw the dark haired girl I was speaking about earlier absolutely shatter the poor young black boys confidence. The boy asked a simple coffee related question to the girl and her response was just utterly unacceptable and not expected at a work place. Then to mutter some of the things she did under her breath and then insult and start giving an attitude towards me just because I was deciding what coffee to purchase.

Honestly this whole experience has not only deterred me from coming again, but my children or friends children will never even step foot at such a place looking for work. I’m a father of 2 and I would never want my child to me to go through what those poor young teenagers went through. Please pass this message on as a warning in case any of your children ever want to work here. I hope those two young people in particular have a bright future because they deserve it.
