Google Bad Review 1:  I had initially been at the work life office for over a year and when I first came to Work Life I felt like a valued member of the Work Life community. Towards the later part of my time there after the initial 6 months, I began to feel increasingly uncomfortable as I felt my image and persona didn’t fit the work life personality that they were looking for, and the dynamics of my business were too vibrant.

As time went on, I began to become unfairly singled out and have had my actions scrutinized unduly.

I was one told by a member of staff at work life that I needed to inform staff members of the names, times and dates of when I received any visitors. I complied as I thought this was standard protocol. Only after speaking with other worklife members I soon realized that this form of regulation was only imposed on me and no one else. When I question staffed as to why this was the case, no substantial reason was provided.

This was one of several incidents which I won’t name.

On January 2017 I came home from work to receive an email to say our membership had been terminated because we had visitors ( We are a business of course we have to meet with clients).

After 2 emails attempts and 3 phone calls attempts to the work life director to get further clarification about the issue and to discuss it formally, I stopped. They ignored my attempts and left me upset, my business in a state of disarray and our clients & staff surprised at how a business could treat people this way.

The worklife office looks good, has good facilities and some of the staff are some what friendly, however if your in with the worklife cool crowd or good friends with the staff this would determine your experience.
If my image was different In my heart I believe I would have be treated differently.

Google Bad Review (2):  The way work life treated us at Jelingu was not right, when I visited the building for the second time to have a meeting with some people we was told there was a time limit on how long we could say for – 1 hour.
1 hours is a good amount of time if you your meeting to chat about the weather but to be told your time in the building is restrict to 1hour is ridiculous. Nice place but not a serious set up for real business's and people that also require a business environment that takes into account the different needs of each business. – “We dont all sell harbios on the sock market ” some of us actually do some work !

Google Bad Review 1:  Unfortunately I did not enjoy my dining experience here. I was joining a reservation for 6 people but when I arrived I was told to wait outside as the restaurant hadn't opened yet. I was waiting for 10 minutes outside when I texted my friends asking when they'll arrive – they said they'd been seated at the table 25 minutes ago and were waiting for me. They had to come outside to let me in, and they had no clue why I was told to stand outside.

Whilst seated, a waiter spilt a drink down my friends chair which went down her back and on her jacket and bag. They didn't seem fussed and didn't offer any compensation for it. I ordered the chicken taouk which was dry and bland, and so was the rice too. For $30 you would expect it to be the best tasting chicken and rice (which is all it was) but I'd had a lot better from a kebab shop. At the end, we were given the bill and all the party had paid apart from one – when the last person tried to pay, they waiters said they needed a minute, and for some reason got 3 members of staff to fuss over the receipt with calculators and pens, doing a lot of maths for 15 minutes, not telling us what was happening. We were all really confused at why our friend couldn't just pay the remainder of the bill since everyone else had paid their share. They then showed him a figure to pay, but changed their mind and starting running the numbers again. It was very strange. I wouldn't return.

Google Bad Review (2):  My wife and I try to have a nice dinner and night out once a month. Having been to most of the high-end restaurants in London we thought we’d give No 6 a shot. The menu sounded intriguing and given the history of the building our expectations were high.

Atmosphere: we were one of four tables and the rest was empty even though it was a 8pm booking on Valentine’s Day. The music was terrible but they changed it to some 80s playlist after we asked them to turn it off or change it. I personally find the lighting a tad too bright but that’s for everyone else to decide.

Service: nothing wrong here and quite attentive and friendly. Two flaws I need to mention. 1) the lady servicing the Veal Milanese absolutely drowned it in lemon juice and 2) they forgot one of the sides I had ordered and didn’t manage to bring it before I had finished my main course.

Food: the veal Milanese was alright but had much better for less than £45. My salmon was on the dry side but reasonable. The tartar sauce they offered (not sure why that’s always the case – even at Wilton’s) was a bit bland and I’m glad I managed to keep them from dozing it in it.

Overall verdict: We were disappointed and expected better from a place in a location like this one. I hope this evening isn’t representative otherwise I’m afraid we won’t be looking at a success story here.

Charming premises and decor but food and service as described in other 1* reviews. In our case digestion had little time to cope with mains arriving almost immediately after we finished the starters. Tables too small. Veg dim sum appealed to my wife but whilst looking good was too bland. Soft shell crab rubbery and nearly the case with the wasabi prawns. Chilli chicken inedible as pieces of chilli like plastic. Other mains fine. One small chocolate “brownie” type slice with a scoop of ice cream to share was not good enough on an £88 per person set menu and if justified in the eyes of the management as it had a small piece of gold leaf to decorate that would be delusional.
Shortcomings drawn to attention of waiter (who agreed) but no deduction when bill presented. This should have been done beforehand but when challenged they took off the 13.5% discretionary service charge. Grossly unfair on staff and should have been off the bill as the owners should take responsibility. The waiting staff tried hard and were suitably attentive.
Front of house staff failed to speak with the appalling and boorish yobs at nearby table and when I mentioned this on leaving was told “…this is a public place!” and pointed to the exit. That lady should be made to exchange her smart suit for washing up duties back of house! Her curt response was disgraceful and prompted this review!

Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately our experience at MiMi Fair was one to forget quickly. Walking out with empty, rumbling bellies and light pockets. The evening started very well. The restaurant is beautiful, very authentic and we had a lovely table. We ordered champagne to celebrate my partners birthday and ordered a prawn starter which took a while to come out but was absolutely delicious once it arrived and made us even more excited for our mains. After a 45 min wait, our fried rice and vegetables arrived. we also ordered the crab so waiting for this to come too before eating our sides. After asking the staff the crab eventually arrived 20 minutes later with our veggies and rice stone cold and the crab was absolutely disgusting. Looked as if someone just quickly put some crab claws in some black beans sauce and sent out. I naturally raised my complaint to the manager, his reaction was extremely unprofessional, barely an apology more a flippant comment of “we will pay for your mains” as if thats what we wanted in the first place.. we didn't even get the mains lol! This was supposed to be a very special occasion that the restaurant were aware of but it was so so tragic that we left the restaurant laughing at just how bad it was!. I have lived in Asia for 9 years so I know a thing or two about Asian cuisine and this was tragically poor. Especially for the money, my bill was still just shy of £150.. ouch!!

Google Bad Review 1:  I went here after 4 years and absolutely hated the experience. Their service is horrendous, they made us wait outside inspite of having empty chairs, clearly not reserved either. They still take cash in the post pandemic era, definitely something fishy. The food was the worst. I have never had pad Thai served with char grilled chicken !!!! And never had drunken fried rice that tasted sweet and contained char grilled chicken, looks like they had plenty of that left in their kitchen. This place has miles to go to reach their levels of 4 years back as I'm never going back and definitely suggesting people to think twice……
