Google Bad Review:  I have emailed the manager four times regarding my mum's belongings and money she had left in their the safe before returning home. Jade the manager has as not responded once. The communication is extremely poor.

Everytime I visited my mum, I felt a high level of stress as soon as I entered the building. It isn't the most welcoming or friendly environment. Some if the care workers where good, one was awful with my mum which I raised. There needs to be more training on communication and person centred care from the top down.

Google Good Review:  This care home has gone above and beyond for Mum who has Alzheimer's. The day to day care staff who deal with personal care, looking after residents and supporting patients at mealtimes are warm, caring and have taken the time to get to know my Mum. We have a family member there almost every night & everybody has seen this. Their staff turnover is pretty low too – my Mum usually has the same 3-4 carers supporting her with the odd new person. Getting referrals to other professionals pushed through (e.g. dentist/ wheelchair services) has sometimes taken time but this is likely down to NHS wait lists and one nurse who wasn't always that helpful. On the whole the nurses too are lovely- I became frustrated by the referral process on a couple of occasions and one nurse in particular was really helpful (Gloria) and worked with us as a family to get my Mum seen. I feel 100% confident my Mum is in safe hands.
