Google Bad Review 1:  Asked for a welding quote over the phone (2 cuts to exhaust pipe, someone tried to steal cat convertor and failed) and was told £90-100 welding but to bring car in and they'd double check. Later quoted me £195 due to ‘more welding work needed'. Seemed ridiculously expensive for welding.

We asked what the price would be to remove the cat and install a newer one which doesn't have the precious metal inside and therefore won't be stolen again – was told labour for this would be £50 and part was about £210. Agreed and asked them to carry out the work.

Got a call half hour later to say the quote would now be £370 as they didn't realise there were 2 cuts to the exhaust – even though they'd had the car up on the jack and already given us 2 quotes?!

I got a bad feeling that we were being shafted so we told them to forget it and will go elsewhere. SO frustrating, why can't you quote honestly instead of trying to squeeze customers for more money?

Google Bad Review (2):  BE AWARE! Please don't trust this garage at all. I went to fix my heater motor for my Nissan Note, knowing they were one of the closest one to my home. Without proper diagnosing the fault they quoted me over £400. They said it is big job and will take around 6 hours. Even they told me they have electrician in house – which I am not sure as if they knew that, they wouldn't have opened my car from wrong side. They even didn't know where was the heater motor.

When I told them I have to think if I need to fix it or not, and went to collect the car, they said to put glove box, they have to charge me although I already paid diagnose fees of £40.00. I went to other garage, didn't pay any diagnose fee, price quote was one third of what I been quoted by E&V. So please don't trust them. I genuinely feel, they take advantage of your situation. As a women, they thought I need my car heater and will pay anything to sort out that. BE AWARE! The review which are 5 star – are from local guide, not from actual customers. So don't trust this people at all.
