Google Bad Review 1:  I rarely leave reviews but I feel compelled to warn people of the TERRIBLE service I received from this company recently. For the third year in a row, I booked this company to come and service the combi gas boiler in the flat I rent out. I had assumed, wrongly, that in servicing the boiler, they would fix the leak that had very recently developed. They not only did not fix the leak, I had to chase to get feedback on the leak and find out how much it would cost to fix – £750. I was pretty shocked by the customer service I was receiving at this point so I decided to get a second opinion from a different company – I went with a Which? trusted trader. He quoted me £450 for the repair and said that the boiler had not been serviced in a long time – in fact was thick with dust.

IN RESPONSE TO EFFICIENT HOME ENERGY'S REPLY TO MY REVIEW

I wrote this review dismayed by the service I had received. I am now APPALLED. Their response includes outright lies. I was never offered the option of a supervisor engineer. I paste below the email I received containing the quote for the repair – it explicitly quotes for the repair. In my reply I actually requested a quote for a new boiler installation – my email was ignored.

Thank you for your email.
I can confirm I have spoken to my manager in regards to the boiler.
We will need to solve the leaks in the boiler the cost will be £750 all inclusive and the part will cost £450.
There is also an option of replacing the boiler, we can quote for this also.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

Google Bad Review (2):  Terrible service, avoid! I had the gas boiler serviced when I identified a small leak. The problem was not solved but the engineer was happy to say it was safe! The company has returned unhelpful emails. There is now an investigation by the Gas Safe Register.
