Google Bad Review (2):  I was so appalled by the service I received today at the store.
On arrival I was utterly ignored by the two women in store. They were with other customers, I understand, but an eye contact would not have hurt…meanwhile the gentleman who came in after me was greeted politely.
When it was finally my turn to be served, as I needed to change a faulty bracelet, the person at the counter asked me if I had purchased the bracelet myself …racial profiling, yes.
Long story short, she claimed the engraving machine was not working, so I decided to take my bracelet back with me and will be going to the store at Westfield London, where the service I have been provided with, so far has not been based on look or race.

I will not visit the King’s Road store ever again.

I sent an email to Maria Tash CS and Harrods team, and was told that it is due to USD/GBP rate exchange!
I regret buying directly from the boutique and highly encourage people to check first the prices in their official website before buying expensive stud!

Google Bad Review (2):  My 12 year-old daughter has been waiting for ages to have her ears pierced so, after carrying out lots of research, we booked an appointment for yesterday. We turned up to be told that we should have received an email (which we definitely did not) to say their shipment of earrings suitable for this appointment had been delayed and the only ones available would cost £370 EACH!! Talk about try to rip you off and I was left with a bitterly disappointed daughter. We had made a special day of the trip to London and this how it ended. You really don't expect this from a place like Harrods. They said that if I complained I would probably get another piercing appointment for free but I most definitely wouldn't go there again.

Google Bad Review (2):  I used to go to this Salon before I went on maternity leave when it was in Soho. Unfortunately I booked an appt on line without realising they'd moved. When I phoned to explain my mistake I was told very rudely that unless I could make another time on that day I would be charged the full consultation fee. I wouldn't recommend this salon at all, I understand that there is a cancellation policy, but as someone who was happy to go on another day and had made an honest mistake, I'm pretty disappointed. There are plenty of places out there that care about their clients more than Mary clearly does.

Google Bad Review 1:  Awful experience had today at Camden Locks alternative. From the outset I was greeted with hostility from the loctician, I should have left at the first red flag! The loctician was rude, unprofessional and extremenly defensive. The main reason for going there was to get a good wash so that my locs could be throughly cleaned and neatened but the loctician didnt wash my hair properly at all! and when I mentioned this to her- she was so defensive and started to tell me that what I've been doing to my hair is the reason why I have build up in my hair and telling me that the products I use is not good despite not even knowing what I use in my hair in the first place!!.. I had not washed my hair for a while as I have locs hence the reason going for a wash in the first place and it was just not washed properly by the loctician plain and simple.

This place is also overpriced and not worth the money… I had a wash(the worst hair salon I've ever been to wash my hair), my hair retwisted and a simple style where I asked the lady to gather my hair up so that it was out of my face and not loose(for her to then be rude again making a scene to express that what she had done was not a basic style).

Such an awful experience, terrible customer service and extremely upsetting the peace. I don't recommend to anyone who wants to maintain their locs and doesn't want their mood to change. Waste of money and time.

Google Bad Review (2):  This place doesn't even deserve one star. I have been coming here for years. Woman who runs it is rude. Had a really confusing encounter with them after my friend travelled an hour and a half to ask about them locking her hair because she wasn't getting a response to her messages, only for the woman to assure her they specialised in mixed texture hair but refused to do it for her for some reason which made us leave feeling very confused and my friend rejected.
I actually wish this place would have gotten closed down instead of Pepi's.

Go to cold steel if you want peircings, my friends who have gotten tattoos from here years before said the artists weren't sober and now it seems like they don't want appointments for hair either.

Google Bad Review 1:  I recently had my helix piercing done on Friday the 18th of September in this tattoo shop by a artist Sami. As I walked in with my girlfriend the woman that greeted me at the desk was very nice and made me feel at ease. However, I found that Sami who did my piercing was incredibly rude, and I felt very uncomfortable as he was doing my piercing. I asked him questions when he finished my piercing etc how do I clean it/with what & how long it takes to heal, however I found his response to my questions very unprofessional and ignorant. Also I was shown a completely different picture on a poster to the one I wanted. I was given no solution to clean it either. The first couple of days of having my piercing it was absolutely fine, and cleaned it constantly with a solution. Although the last couple of days it started to swell up, and found out it has been infected. I have had to take out my piercing now and I have wasted £24 in which I asked to pay with card and had to pay a £2 fee. I am not happy with the customer service and I definitely will not recommend/come back to this tattoo shop. Thanks.

Google Bad Review (2):  I used to go to this Salon before I went on maternity leave when it was in Soho. Unfortunately I booked an appt on line without realising they'd moved. When I phoned to explain my mistake I was told very rudely that unless I could make another time on that day I would be charged the full consultation fee. I wouldn't recommend this salon at all, I understand that there is a cancellation policy, but as someone who was happy to go on another day and had made an honest mistake, I'm pretty disappointed. There are plenty of places out there that care about their clients more than Mary clearly does.

Google Bad Review 1:  Awful experience had today at Camden Locks alternative. From the outset I was greeted with hostility from the loctician, I should have left at the first red flag! The loctician was rude, unprofessional and extremenly defensive. The main reason for going there was to get a good wash so that my locs could be throughly cleaned and neatened but the loctician didnt wash my hair properly at all! and when I mentioned this to her- she was so defensive and started to tell me that what I've been doing to my hair is the reason why I have build up in my hair and telling me that the products I use is not good despite not even knowing what I use in my hair in the first place!!.. I had not washed my hair for a while as I have locs hence the reason going for a wash in the first place and it was just not washed properly by the loctician plain and simple.

This place is also overpriced and not worth the money… I had a wash(the worst hair salon I've ever been to wash my hair), my hair retwisted and a simple style where I asked the lady to gather my hair up so that it was out of my face and not loose(for her to then be rude again making a scene to express that what she had done was not a basic style).

Such an awful experience, terrible customer service and extremely upsetting the peace. I don't recommend to anyone who wants to maintain their locs and doesn't want their mood to change. Waste of money and time.

Google Bad Review (2):  This place doesn't even deserve one star. I have been coming here for years. Woman who runs it is rude. Had a really confusing encounter with them after my friend travelled an hour and a half to ask about them locking her hair because she wasn't getting a response to her messages, only for the woman to assure her they specialised in mixed texture hair but refused to do it for her for some reason which made us leave feeling very confused and my friend rejected.
I actually wish this place would have gotten closed down instead of Pepi's.

Go to cold steel if you want peircings, my friends who have gotten tattoos from here years before said the artists weren't sober and now it seems like they don't want appointments for hair either.

Google Bad Review 1:  My colleague and I had read the reviews for Blush and Blow and saw it as an obvious choice for us to get a nice blow dry before our Christmas party. We were both heading into London, no district line to parsons green so we had to make alternate arrangements from earls court. As we were subsequently delayed, I phoned the salon and notified them we would be around 5 minutes late for our appointment, at no point did anyone mention there was a problem with this.

Once we arrived, first impressions weren't great, lovely salon, beautifully presented but an unwelcoming atmosphere. We gave our names and were then told only one of us could have our hair done because we were late. We were somewhat amazed by how rude the member of staff was, as there was no warning of this and they made us feel like an inconvenience. Not a good start.
She offered to tong my hair which for £30 is just not good enough, something I could do myself, I had chosen to come to Blush and Blow to have my hair washed, relax and come out with big bouncy hair. Unfortunately this ideal was quickly fading, they washed our hair but the lady who was supposed to see me said she had another appointment in 20 minutes and can't delay others (which is fair enough). As a compromise I thought she would perhaps dry my hair until her next client arrived but alas, I sat with the towel on my head unattended while I watched my colleague get hers done. What annoyed me however was that I could see the Girl who was supposed to be tending to me chatting away out the back. Instead of using her time efficiently she did the opposite.

We weren't offered any Prosecco, although we could see it when we arrived. I had my hair done the previous week in a Toni and Guy salon and was offered several glasses, given the time of year I feel this is something nice to offer as a token. We had a fairly young member of staff tend to both of us, it appeared only two people on hand, perhaps they need to hire more staff but there was no conversation from the staff, I was eventually offered a coffee but again the attitude of the staff was appalling.

Eventually it came to my turn to get my hair done, the girl was nice, I said my hair was very fine but a lot of it and takes a long time to dry, anyone knows that when blow drying, hair needs to be mostly dry, it was being pinned up damp and i knew this wouldn't stick.

I never thought i'd be the person to write quite an in depth review about these things, but I genuinely was so dissatisfied with the service we received, I really thought it would be a lovely environment, we'd have a glass of bubbles, a good chat and leave excited for our party. Instead we left deflated, ripped off and went home to redo our hair.

Perhaps it depends on who is working, but if that is the case then that's wrong. I suggest the owner of this salon sends her staff on a customer service refresher so that no one else will experience what we did.

I won't be returning i'm afraid.

Google Bad Review (2):  This salon was really nice but the quality of the gel they use is terrible. I went two days ago for a gel manicure and 4 of my nails have already chipped. Bear in mind the most manual labour I've done over those two days is a bit of typing on a laptop.

I thought paying more money (and yes, it is a fair bit of money) would result in better quality but apparently not. A real shame as I was having them done specially for Christmas and now my nails will look terrible at all the events I'm going to. They might be good for hair, I wouldn't know but I would avoid ever getting gel done here again.

They do have a salon dog though so I can't be too harsh.
