I explained at the counter that I am very short for time as I need to get to pick up the children from school so realistically how long would it be. He assured me it would be no longer than 5 minutes as it was all fried menu. It took 16 minutes and due to this I arrived 25 minutes late to the school. I explained my situation clearly and only needed food as my wife was heavily pregnant. Granted they were busy and it was panic stations but I had to keep asking as I could have cancelled the order and left.
The taste of the food is irrelevant as no one took any responsibility and were just running around like headless chickens. Except for the lady who was trying to maintain order.
All it needed was simple communication that it would take this long. It was such a simple and basic order too.
Thank you so much for the stress you caused out of sheer lack of understanding.
