Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Human Resources

Google Bad Review (2):  The service was atrocious. It took them too long to assist us and charged us £900 for preparing a generic contract/Staff handbook which wasn’t specific to our company and seemed as though it was a generic copy they had. When we requested amendments which required copy and pasting from what we have on our website and sent it in an email and requested to change staff names to their titles only they charged us £1800 (this included a less than 10 minute phone on legal advice). When we disputed this we were given no assistance and referred to the debt collection team. We as a company will never be using their services again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Which was sent to them. They did not respond to emails. When spoken to on the phone they then said they could not do the work. It was a 5 minute job re a declaration for a deed poll. A rubbish inadequate firm. Steer well clear of them lazy and rude.

Google Bad Review (2):  Dealing with Irwin Mitchell is like having a conversation with yourself. They do not answer or respond to any phone calls or emails. They say they send out letters for certain appointments that never actually arrive. I currently have a claim outstanding with Irwin Mitchell and have been trying to contact them consistently for over a year now with hardly any response at all. They do not seem to care about the client or the decency to get back to people with an update. Think wisely before appointing Irwin Mitchell to handle any sort of legal work for you. It is as if they have 3 people working in an office trying to handle 5000 cases and cannot cope. Very Very poor to say the least. I would score them Zero if it would let me.

Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  Sean Thornton

Google Bad Review 1:  I would avoid using Stephenson like the plague, having recently experienced their awful service and being subjected to their excuses for over five months. If you want to employ a conveyancing firm that will singlehanded tank your purchase/sale then these are the guys for the job. They’re basically a call center so expect to speak to someone different and be told something different every time you phone up. Misinformation and sowing confusion between all parties is their number one tactic. There is no sense of ownership at this firm, whoever you speak to will claim it’s with someone else or another department is responsible. You’ll set deadlines that they agree to only for them to go massively past the due date causing massive amounts of frustration and offer no apology or rational explanation just vague excuses about paperwork being with lenders or that they’re currently short staffed, that’s if you can even get them on the phone. Due to their inept handling they went three and a half weeks past the exchange deadline, resulting in exchange and completion within 2 days the only reason I didn’t push it back further was the prospect of having to deal with them any longer.

They saying buying/selling a house is one of the most stressful thing you can do so I expected it to be bad, but this was the most single stressful experience I’ve ever endured and we almost lost the property on three occasions due to their poor handling of everything and I can lay the blame solely at the feet of Stephenson’s. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Kenny Cheung

Google Bad Review (2):  Stay away from this company. What was supposed to be a simple eviction took them almost 18months! My case was never dealt with by a solicitor and was handed to a total of 5 inturns across the duration of the case. They single handedly cost me 10s of thousands of pounds in lost rent. Use them at your peril. I would also like to add, that for the last 3 months of this case, i was tasked by them(beleive it or not) to contact the county courts, as they didnt have the time to. At the beginning of the process I categorically asked them to transfer the case to the high court for expediency and was advised by them that county court would be much quicker as the paper work needed for high court would take just as long… 8 months later… after I chased the county courts, i got this resolved myself.

Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  Kiran Kaur

Google Bad Review 1:  Awful! They charge through the nose, do not provide any practical or actionable advice, do not file papers with the court on time, when you chase them up they will happily charge you for the privilege… Several times I was overcharged or double-charged for multiple solicitors reading the same piece of correspondence! I asked them for a final bill as I wanted to move to a different firm. I paid the final bill. A month later, they sent me another bill (even though no further work was done by them on my behalf) for over £1000! Granted, after many emails back and forth, and after I raised a formal complaint, they kindly provided me with a ‘credit note’ to offset the bill – but absolutely abysmal firm! More interested in how much they can rinse you for, rather than actually help you.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  Richard Richard

Google Bad Review (2):  Bad experience with claiming to be a top divorce law company. A month was spent to catch my lawyer who was replaced later. Unfortunately, it didn’t help as a replacement asked £20k as a retainer instead of regularly £5k that was requested before according to the agreement and finally announced that I’d better go directly to the court to file my case. I find Vardag unprofessional and waste of time.

Google Good Reviews #:  60

Google Reviewer Name (Good Review):  Josh Lurie

Google Good Review:  Vardags provided me with an exceptional service when going through the process of purchasing a property in London. I can highly recommend the services of Nicholas Tobin and James Bunker.

Google Reviewer 1, Name (Bad Review):  Lehem Lehem

Google Bad Review 1:  I am only giving 1 star as I have to. I read the reviews about this place and was really hopeful they could help me out with a bit of advice and simple letter. I got an appt quickly and people were nice so I left feeling I had now dealt with my family issue. I was so shocked with what came next. All I was getting was a simple letter done and they just couldn’t be bothered, would have taken them an hour total max with drafts and reviews – less if they had spelt names right and included everything I needed the first time! They couldn’t be bothered to the point they just stopped responding. This really was a quick and easy job for them and it would have meant the world to me and I really wasn’t asking alot but they just thought, sod her. Presume as I didn’t pay up front. Really disappointing and upsetting for me, will not be recommending and have to start all over again.

Google Bad Review 1:  AVOID this firm at all cost !! Avoid Shyan, Rebecca, And the manager of this firm. They are lazy, rude, and corrupt. They do not look into your case, they just brush through it within 10 seconds, they do not care about you or your case, they just want the little money they are getting. Waste of time this firm, pls Avoid Shyan at all cost. They are the worst firm of unlicensed lawyers. Shyan is not even a lawyer, she is a receptionist pretending to be a lawyer. PLS AVOID THIS FIRM IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE AT COURT.

Google Reviewer 2, Name (Bad Review):  TF Records

Google Bad Review (2):  This company is a company that will neglect your claim and lie to you. Most of the compliments/ high ratings are being made are by people who work for this company, they are fake reviews. THE TRUTH is they lie and don’t explain your advantages towards the courts properly.

Google Bad Review 1:  I must say that i’m very surprised by the number of positive reviews this firm has received but i guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I did not have a good experience at all. Complete and utter waste of time enquiring with a firm with unprofessional and rude solicitors. I contacted the firm as recommended by a number of family and friends to enquire about an immigration matter. I spoke with someone called Jordana who seemed very uninterested and bored with what i had to say and any questions that i asked she responded in a patronising manner. Because of this i decided not to bother pursuing my matter with OTS Solicitors. Another friend of mine saw Vishal Makol about 3 weeks ago and told me how rude and unprofessional he was. firstly he came to the meeting extremely late and then asked questions in an inappropriate way. He brought a beverage and bar of chocolate into the meeting room without offering and decided to take a bit of the chocolate before sitting down , I just find this very bizarre and unprofessional. I cannot stress that OTS is not worth the money or the good reviews that it receives.

Google Bad Review (2):  I don’t know where all the good reviews is coming from. May be they have some people who is working on their reviews. Terrible place hungry for money. I was going to make an application for tourist visa for my wife. At the beginning they said application charge will be 1200 pound I said fare enough by seing their reviews. However we have agreed to pay it by installment, therefore I paid 500 pound but they said they did no get it, I sent the picture of my receipt then they said they have received it. But no progression because I did not pay another 700 pound. By watching they are making late I asked them 3 months already gone so I’m not interested for tourist visa it will be better if I wait another 3 months and bring my wife as spouse visa. However they said it will cost me 2000 pound. I was not happy because everytime I have been there they said it’s not a problem but when I left they forgot everything and I had to chase them. I asked for some refund but they refused to give me. No hope please don’t go there by only watching their reviews. Terrible place and made me disappointment.
