Google Bad Review 1:  Bad, Bad experience for me. just went today. I wanted to re-attach my temporary Bridge as I don't want to do the pemanent yet. In order to do that when I phoned I had been told I needed to book a general admission visit of 60 GBP and only after that the Dentist would have told me what they could have done. Instead when I went to my appointment they attached directly the Bridge, I was obviously thinking that the visit would have been after. But after that I came out and the receptionist told me it was 120 GBP. So I obviously asked if the visit was included. She said yes at which point I said that I did not have a general visit. She went away for few minutes and came back saying that actually was 90GBP for the work and 40GBP consultancy fee. Now I can understand the cost of the work itself ( even if nobody told me how much was ) but consultancy fee.. really ? Do I look like a fool? I new already what I needed and I asked for re-attaching my bridge… In any case I just looked a second the receptionist with disappointment and I paid. But certainly never there anymore

I am afraid to say my recent (late 2019) experience with the practice has not been great – they are pushy for people to sign permission for the practice to use patients data and photographs for commercial use. I don’t condemn it the attempt, but when I said to the nurse/assistant I’d rather not, she said this helps dentists keep a record! Dentists keep a medical record regardless, this was a waiver for commercial use. I felt a bit angry and tricked. They also have a cheeky tickbox where they ask you everything you don’t like about your teeth, so they can try to sell it to you later.
On my last checkup, there was a new, young dentist. Did some x-rays and he said most of my fillings (4) had new cavities forming and had to be redone, one likely root canal needed. Shocking! I had no symptoms, and upon checking with 2 other dentists, my fillings are fine. I am very disappointed and have no trust in the clinic anymore. I am so relieved I did no go through with it.

OLD REVIEW:
I usually dread going to the dentist, but the staff was friendly and competent and put me at ease. I am looking forward to come back to see the hygienist!
