Google Bad Review 1:  Bad, Bad experience for me. just went today. I wanted to re-attach my temporary Bridge as I don’t want to do the pemanent yet. In order to do that when I phoned I had been told I needed to book a general admission visit of 60 GBP and only after that the Dentist would have told me what they could have done. Instead when I went to my appointment they attached directly the Bridge, I was obviously thinking that the visit would have been after. But after that I came out and the receptionist told me it was 120 GBP. So I obviously asked if the visit was included. She said yes at which point I said that I did not have a general visit. She went away for few minutes and came back saying that actually was 90GBP for the work and 40GBP consultancy fee. Now I can understand the cost of the work itself ( even if nobody told me how much was ) but consultancy fee.. really ? Do I look like a fool? I new already what I needed and I asked for re-attaching my bridge… In any case I just looked a second the receptionist with disappointment and I paid. But certainly never there anymore

I am afraid to say my recent (late 2019) experience with the practice has not been great – they are pushy for people to sign permission for the practice to use patients data and photographs for commercial use. I don’t condemn it the attempt, but when I said to the nurse/assistant I’d rather not, she said this helps dentists keep a record! Dentists keep a medical record regardless, this was a waiver for commercial use. I felt a bit angry and tricked. They also have a cheeky tickbox where they ask you everything you don’t like about your teeth, so they can try to sell it to you later.
On my last checkup, there was a new, young dentist. Did some x-rays and he said most of my fillings (4) had new cavities forming and had to be redone, one likely root canal needed. Shocking! I had no symptoms, and upon checking with 2 other dentists, my fillings are fine. I am very disappointed and have no trust in the clinic anymore. I am so relieved I did no go through with it.

OLD REVIEW:
I usually dread going to the dentist, but the staff was friendly and competent and put me at ease. I am looking forward to come back to see the hygienist!

Google Bad Review 1:  Worst experience ever. I Will not being going back there, I was sent there from nhs 111 I had to have my tooth filled in as I was in pain. Within 7hours the filling had fell out just from drinking water.
I had to call 111 again to get another appointment the next day to fill my chip tooth again, once appointment was made again, once I arrived at the practise I was told by a dentist at the practice that I was not in pain and I should be grateful they are doing my treatment for me. My tooth was filled like a cowboy builder job. I said to to the dentist it still looks chipped she replied I am not grateful. She finished doin the tooth but it feels rough and I feel it won’t last the rest of the day. Extremely unhappy with this service.

Google Bad Review (2):  Not very good I phoned up Monday to get an appointment they didn’t have none and to phone back later then couldn’t get hold of them and they still didn’t have any cancellation so phoned up today and no appointments and they said phone back later which I did and no cancellation and told me to keep phoneing to see if there is any cancellation I asked when the next available appointment is and they said the second week in may it’s a joke thought they could give an emergency appointment they usually do. Before the put me on a cancellation list where they phoned me when an appointment came available but haven’t put me on it this time.

I have been having really bad toothache and now two of my teeth are killing me I am so doped up on pain killers but nothing is working.

People haven’t got the money to keep phoneing them up.

They will try to sell you whatever service they can. They re like state agents.

Went just for a toothache and apparently I need 5 fillings, remove two teeth, braces, see the hygienist… went to other dentist for second opinion and he said that my teeth were really healthy.

I was also charged 250 for a regular extraction. The claimed that because the tooth was a bit broken I needed surgery. There was no surgery done. The tooth was taken out in less than 5 minutes. I asked if the price was the same but they said yes…

Google Bad Review (2):  Wouldn’t even give them one star if I had the option. Got stuck in traffic and rang before hand to let them know I was going to be late for my hygienist appointment which I had already paid the full amount for. When I got to the practice I apologised for my lateness and said I would be happy with a quick clean with the time I had left (the time I had already paid for). I was told that the hygienist had gone on lunch Which I thought was odd. I asked why the hygienist had gone on lunch during the appointment I had paid for. I was told that I had been put down as a no show even though I had phoned ahead before the appointment to explain. I was then told my only option was to pay again and book again. I said I would rather use the remainder of my paid appointment but was told I couldn’t. The hygienist was sat downstairs and refused to talk to me. The two women at reception seemed to enjoy the distress this caused and enjoyed the ‘computer says no’ bit of power they had. They are nothing better than thieves. I was denied the remainder of my pre-paid appointment. I will NEVER be using this practice again. Worst experience with a dentist I’ve ever had. I would have preferred to throw my own money down the drain without the terrible customer service. Please don’t use this practice there are many more dentists in Camden who have a high level of customer service and decency.

Google Bad Review 1:  I have been going for several year in this practise and always was good, just because I never needed any treatment just general check. Once I had to replace filling troubles started. New filling fell out next day other filling went bad finishing in root canal treatment. Receptionist would give me emergency appointment to correct bad job, until I complained through all possible channels.

About hygienist treatment.
They have two options normal and deep cleaning.
I chose deep cleaning which turns out it is normal cleaning with additional air blast. It wasn’t well executed as I was removing pieces of food after cleaning procedure completed.

So save yourself time and money look for other Dental practice.

Google Bad Review 1:  Honestly don’t bother, save your money and go to a dental practice that isn’t in the business of ripping you off!!!!!
I went to the practice before Christmas and had some minor treatment done, I was charged £75 per tooth, have receipts and bank statements.
My partner goes there and has the EXACT same treatment done, gets charged £398 for 3 teeth. He was on the chair for the best part or 24 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!
I have called the surgery and spoken to both brothers whom have been anything but helpful. I struggle to believe that in the space of 8 weeks prices have doubled!
Speaking to other people since the incident I can’t believe that I ever went there !! EVERYONE comments , not how great they are as dentists but what A RIP OFF they are!!! They charge whatever prices they want based on what they think you pay.
I don’t mind paying for a service but don’t con people !!!!!!

They will try to sell you whatever service they can. They re like state agents.

Went just for a toothache and apparently I need 5 fillings, remove two teeth, braces, see the hygienist… went to other dentist for second opinion and he said that my teeth were really healthy.

I was also charged 250 for a regular extraction. The claimed that because the tooth was a bit broken I needed surgery. There was no surgery done. The tooth was taken out in less than 5 minutes. I asked if the price was the same but they said yes…

Google Bad Review (2):  Wouldn’t even give them one star if I had the option. Got stuck in traffic and rang before hand to let them know I was going to be late for my hygienist appointment which I had already paid the full amount for. When I got to the practice I apologised for my lateness and said I would be happy with a quick clean with the time I had left (the time I had already paid for). I was told that the hygienist had gone on lunch Which I thought was odd. I asked why the hygienist had gone on lunch during the appointment I had paid for. I was told that I had been put down as a no show even though I had phoned ahead before the appointment to explain. I was then told my only option was to pay again and book again. I said I would rather use the remainder of my paid appointment but was told I couldn’t. The hygienist was sat downstairs and refused to talk to me. The two women at reception seemed to enjoy the distress this caused and enjoyed the ‘computer says no’ bit of power they had. They are nothing better than thieves. I was denied the remainder of my pre-paid appointment. I will NEVER be using this practice again. Worst experience with a dentist I’ve ever had. I would have preferred to throw my own money down the drain without the terrible customer service. Please don’t use this practice there are many more dentists in Camden who have a high level of customer service and decency.

Google Bad Review 1:  I can’t share my experience with the hygienist because I made the appointment for my husband but my experience with the booking and the admin was terrible. They required full payment in order to book an appointment in the first place and then had the nerve to charge my husband again during his visit. This practice with incompetent staff is all about $$$$. Shame!

Google Bad Review (2):  I spoke today with the practice manager and owner Dahlia.

Unfortunately, I had an urgent work issue come up over the weekend meaning that I could not make a Tuesday mid-morning appointment.

Therefore I called up at 9am on Monday morning to postpone the next treatment as they were not open on the weekend to contact.

Dahlia advised that they would be charging me £50 for this missed appointment as it is their policy to receive 48 hours notice. The fact that they could not be contacted on the weekend due to the practice closure seemed lost on Dahlia.

Dahlia’s overall tone was dismissive, curt and unwavering: “48 cancellation notice is our policy” she repeated. Apparently it was “a long appointment” booked in, for 90 minutes. There was no empathy, no understanding which was very disappointing, despite the fact that I had spent hundreds of pounds on treatments in recent months, and had also paid one previous cancellation fee as I was unable to provide notice (which was absolutely fair).

However, having provided more than 24 hours notice and not being able to provide more notice than this over the weekend due to the practice closure – I do believe it is an extremely unfair position for the dentist to take.

We will now be having our dental work done elsewhere going forward.
