Google Bad Review:  (Quite a delayed review as I went to this dentist about 2 years ago) I was looking for a dentist near me as I knew I needed a filling. When I phoned they made me an appointment quickly.

When I arrived the dentist and assistant were friendly and did X rays. I was told I needed multiple fillings but that they would just do the one that was bothering most for now and make another appointment to do the rest.

At the end when I went to pay, to my shock, I was told that it would cost £90!! Just for one filling and X rays!!! They explained that they are a private practice and that I should have been told that on the phone. This was embarrassing as I actually had to call a relative to bring the money as I didn't have any where near enough.

The dentist himself didn't seem at all remorseful knowing I hadn't been told beforehand how much it would be (although the assistant was). To make matters worse the dentist didn't even do a proper job. The filling still gave me trouble afterwards and I had to go to another dentist to have it redone properly.

I understand that private treatment costs a lot more but I think this practice should always make it clear when new patients are booking appointments that they are private and how much a treatment will cost.

I would not recommend this dentist as they couldn't even do a good job for the money I paid. Perhaps I should have enquired about prices/read online…and I regret not going back to get my money back!!
