Google Bad Review: I've been reading over the reviews and I absolutely agree with Ben Uhrr. His account of events are completely accurate. My child also went to this setting for a few months and I was highly dissatisfied and withdrew my child promptly after speaking with other parents about their experiences.
The directors are very delusional and will sell you a dream that your child will be safe and happy, go outside on trips etc Not once did I see this. My child had accidents and they could not tell me what happened. Instead I got some lame excuse the following day. If they wasted less time concocting lies and put the same effort into learning their business and running it right they would have a half decent nursery. They claim to have an outdoor space but it's just an open space with no activity, borders or security the children just run around whenever they get the chance. Mealtimes were a nightmare my child had a bellyache every other week. Meals were not well balanced sometimes the children didn't have enough on their plate. I was shocked to see how little they are fed at snack times.
The staff turnover is ridiculous. The staff were ok, some were very young and a few could barely speak English but you didn't know who you were going to see from one week to the next. They seemed understaffed and the nursery was chaotic. Children were always crying and the nursery was a mess it needs a good deep clean too. When you asked management they said they staff were not good and new staff were starting but i did not see this. From what I could see Staff were unhappy and the director Chizzy was highly emotional and aggressive towards them. She is unprofessional and has no idea of confidentiality. I witnessed her crying to another parent about something another parent had said and done.
I don't how this setting is still open to the public. Ofsted have an accurate if not higher grade than they deserve. I didn't realise how much my child's development was seriously neglected in that nursery until he started at a new setting and they showed me where my child was in his development and how I could improve his development. I saw no evidence of learning at Zippys everyday he would go to play and staff have the same feedback that he was “good”. at Zippys staff would write the same thing in the book everyday and i saw no evidence of planned activities or assessment children had similar setup everyday. Fees were absurd and I would be overcharged whenever they felt like it. When I went to the office I had to wait weeks for them to recalculate. I can't understand how they charge so much when they provide so little.
I know there will be another fake response to this as there is to the other honest review. But it's unlikely that parents have nothing better to do with their time than to write negative reviews. Our intention is to give you the other parents clear warning not to bring your children here. Janice clearly has time to spare to defend this nursery and it's Ofsted review. She speaks just like Chizzy as far as she is aware she “speaks by vision”. what kind of crap is that? I see with my eyes and speak with my mouth. She shouldn't be wishing anything bad on in anyone's child. I don't understand, are you a friend to these directors? If these are the parents that send their children to zippy I definitely encourage you to send your child elsewhere.
Your business is clearly going downhill if you have time to be posting all of these fake positive reviews. That business you claim as a nursery is nowhere up to standard. OFSTED confirmed that. You cannot tell people that they cannot write a review because it tarnishes your name this platform to write HONEST reviews are provided for individuals to express their experiences as they experienced it. So telling me speak to you privately when i already did and it failed FYI is why i removed my child defeats the point. I have a right to warn parents not to bring their children there because your business is rubbish and does not do anything to promote healthy development.
