Google Bad Review:  THEY'RE NOT INSURED – AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We had the misfortune of dealing with these con artists after some building work. We paid £265 to have our house cleaned, which included a newly fitted kitchen (so new, that the entire kitchen – cabinets and appliances – were still covered by the protective plastic they're shipped in). As part of the cleaning, the cleaners removed the protective plastic, and – despite our requests to take care – managed to badly scratch our brand new, top of the range Neff oven.

They refused to accept responsibility at the time. We sent an email to the company with photos. It took them two weeks just to send someone to inspect the damage, during which we found that they don't employ their own cleaners, but merely subcontract the work.

After the inspection we were told the cleaners did not accept responsibility, that the cleaning company ‘could not force them to accept responsibility' and that they were unable to help resolve our issue unless that happened. Having damaged a £1200 oven, they offered us a ‘£15 credit voucher off our next clean'.

It took us 9 weeks of chasing – by phone, post and email – threats of raising a claim in the small claims court and reporting them to the financial ombudsman and watchdog, to get them to take action.

They refused outright to give us the details of their legal representatives. They refused to provide us with either theirs or their cleaners' insurance (they clearly have none). They refused to accept responsibility for the damage. They avoided and screened our phone calls. They promised countless times to call us back with updates – not once did we get one without chasing after several days.

We eventually got them to agree to refund the £265 we paid for the cleaning, which barely covers the time we spent trying to get the issue resolved, let alone the inconvenience, distress and damage caused.

Learn from our mistake. Stay well clear of this company – find a company that properly vets their cleaners first, and DO NOT ALLOW A SINGLE PERSON INTO YOUR HOME UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED THEY HAVE INSURANCE IN PLACE.
