Google Bad Review:  I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I will not be returning after todays visit.

The prices have increased from c.£8 for the kebab main to £12 whilst the portions have decreased. This is understandable with the cost of ingredients etc, however the quality has also fallen drastically (serving raw tomatoes instead of grilled, old salad etc).

Every time I have come here (including less than a month ago when I came with a friend) I have always received free Turkish tea at the end of my meal. To my surprise, I was charged £5 for this tea today?! After explaining I always get it for free, the server laughed and said “you only bought one coke”…. Note: Most times that I come I only drink water anyway, and yet still receive free tea.

If prices have recently changed, you have a duty to notify your regular customers when they order something. I’m also 1000% sure the man on the table next to me got free Turkish tea as he had his bill with him and then ordered.

I was not happy with the response of the staff and did not want to be embarrassed so I paid but I will not be using Persian palace for party catering (which I have done many times) or introducing them to friends etc as the quality and value has declined drastically.

There are so many other restaurants that serve the same food nearby.

Save your money and have a better experience elsewhere!
