Google Bad Review:  I have no heating and hot water and Chev Millier was called to get the heating working. He did not keep to the time of the appointment which was between 17:00 to 19:00 pm and he came at 19:45pm after I had text him to ensure if he was still coming. On his arrival to my premises, he changed the radiator valve which he thought was the problem and failed to check the flame in the boiler. After changing the radiator valve, there was still no heating. He tried to get the air lock out but to no avail. His quote via text message to me was £80 for the first hour. Unfortunately, he only spent 40 mins in my premises to change a radiator valve but failed to get the air lock out of the radiators.

Despite his 40 mins saga and failing to get the job done he requested to be paid £170 cash. To my surprise, when Chev asked to be paid £170 for a poor substandard level of service , I thought he was joking. He was not remorseful that he failed to get the job done and certainly was unsure how to resolve the problem. He demanded payment to be paid in cash and upfront without a receipt which he received, because his demeanor, behviour and approach was my immediate concern .

Chev attitude and demeanor greatly left much to be desired. I will strongly not recommend this tradesman at all. What a contradiction to the company ethos… “Active Gas Maintenance Ltd, located in London is a team of tested, trusted and experienced gas and heating engineers committed to giving their clients warm, safe homes”. Is this a JOKE????
