Google Bad Review (2):  Absolutely terrible …be careful. They'll try to get more money from you. Bird broke the windscreen on motorway they made me pay £585 for a new one to get home and took my £500 deposit. Am going to take them to court as they didn't give me the right insurance in the first place. Windscreen was not insured.
And have noticed by other reviews online that they keep doing this to people.
Go elsewhere, you think its cheaper but it works out it isn't.
Can't stress how bad they are.

To respond to the response below.
It was not our fault either that a pheasant flew into the windscreen on the motorway either.
On the day ‘breakdown cover' was not mentioned, that is a blatant lie. Any would it be mentioned? On the contract I have it covers 150 miles free of charge and I was in Newcastle which is over 272 miles away. So that is a point that can be disputed in the small claims court.
As for fitting a new windscreen, it had to be done. It is illegal to drive with a broken one. Plus I was told that I could fit one as long as it did not disrupt the vans sensors.
Then I was told you could find a replacement windscreen for £99…..how much do you actually know about cars because we all knew that would never happen?
As for no problems before (and this is my fault in talking a second chance) check your records. The more you say the more you are contradicting yourself.
This is not going away.
And thanks for the threat that if it goes to court you will claim for the windscreen. I was only going to claim for my deposit now I'm claiming for the windscreen I had to replace as well. So in total £1040 so thanks again.
I say again, that is way too much money for anyone to lose for an accident that was not anyone's fault. And being left stranded in Newcastle with little or absolutely NO help and contradictory ‘advice' from you.
Breakdown cover, get your story straight.
Notice of Action will be within 2 weeks. You owe me the money for the windscreen I paid for . Look up the position of ‘betterment' in law.
