Google Bad Review 1:  I actually found Matt thru a Facebook friend who gave him a great review on his Facebook page….and let me tell you this was a BAD Choice. I found out from my friend that he gave Matt a great review ” because Matt is my boss at my work”??? Doing more research on this everything started coming to light. With a little bit of research it's very obvious here that Matt is not even a full time home inspector. He has a full time job for a company called Hino Motors Canada and the home inspections is a side job. Most of the amazing reviews that are on google and Facebook ALSO work at Hino and seem to be related to him.. All these great reviews should have raised flags!!

Now to the actual inspection. Yes Matt was very pleasant to talk to and was very nice. Matt seemed to have all these fancy toys that he brought with him to do the inspection such as cameras etc etc. I have had two prior home inspections before that did not use these gizmos and gadgets so this was new for me. Although the gadgets were “cool” the reality is the inspection was poorly done. I was totally shocked that instead of climbing onto the
Roof to actually check things out like the
Shingles he used a camera ????? I was also disappointed that he did not even go into the attic hatch to inspect the insulation?? I also found the total home inspection to be just over the 1 hour mark!

Overall my experience with this company was not worth it. I purchased a home inspection for a home inspection ,which is to find things wrong with the house and to Identify possible Future problems. The end result is I did not purchase the house because Matt's report did not come close to matching the problems that the first report I had read from the first offer inspection showed.

Pros: Good price , friendly , professional, report was done professionally.

Cons: fake reviews on FB and Google , He works a full time job at Hino motors Canada so this is a PT gig for him , did not search attic or go on roof, inspection was short, missed a few things and one major thing when comparing reports.
