Google Bad Review 1:  Unfortunately whilst D&R are friendly builders, they lack quality in their work. We had our hallway skimmed and instead of taking 2-3 days to complete the job, they took 1.5 days because they had another job to go to. It was rushed, there were lots of patches which could only be seen once painted. I spent hundreds in painting materials. I requested the team to return to fully complete the job – two of them came back to only patch up for half hour. It was the left in a worse place because it wasn't complete and large patches of plaster left! I have now spent another £400 to get it fixed by a more professional company. Darren did not even think to refund money. Poor customer service and poor work, do not use them.

Response to review posted by Darren – Hi Darren – the review I gave was before the plaster had dried – I thought your team were efficient and the work looked great. However once the plaster had dried, the quality of work was poor as you could see the bumps and uneven surface. We paid around £1600 for this work. Once I raised the issue with you, your team came around for half hour to fix and entire hallway – again a short amount of time and the work was still not good enough. To confirm my husband and I were not impressed. I appreciate you had kept in contact and your staff have always been friendly. Please could the review you have posted be taken off Google as I have not given you 5 stars and this is no longer how I feel about the work carried out. If the previous review is on your website – please can this be taken off too as I have given a review that accurately reflects the work carried out.

I think if your team has taken more time and care or given us a refund of some sort, my review would have been more positive. I'm sorry we could not resolve this to a satisfactory standard.
