Google Bad Review 1:  Very disappointed. The service was ok, but the food was mediocre at best, poorly finished and portions far too small for the price (nearly £40!). The restaurant was booked for an event so we eat in the Brasserie.
Starter – chicken livers (photographed). Tasty, but served on a greasy bit of fried bread. Small portion 3/5
Main – chicken served with some glutinous mashed potatoe. My companion had a fair portion of two pieces of cut breast, but mine was two, rather dry end bits. Embarrassingly small portion 2/5
Dessert – chocolate pudding. So dry I couldn't eat it. 2/5
Frankly, I wouldn't go back and don't recommend 🙁

Google Bad Review (2):  I came here after looking at the website, and not knowing that it was my old catering college, where I trained in hotel and catering management. And what a shock. I paid £40 for a meal including wine, and although the food was good, , the standard of service was amateur and college like…..perhaps I have learned alot since working in managing restaurants, however the lads and girls were not trained in dining room niceties at all, and could hardly manage. It did feel as if I was being served by a chef coming out of the kitchen and putting the food on the table….as it was very very rough edged, at restaurant prices( but they were tryng hard ). The restaurant was full, and i was with a group of 18 people, on 4 tables, and there was a serious lack of supervision from the trainers…………budget service at restaurant prices…..these young people have been let loose on the general public before they have learnt the elements of waiter service. What a shame! At both ends of the restaurant, there were glass doors so you could see students peering into the restaurant from reception desk…… also students outside smoking in the street…….a better name for the restaurant would be “School meals” …….
