Google Bad Review 1:  100% agree with the bad reviews on here. I attended crossfit (now know as aphobos) over a year ago. It was one the worst experiences of my lifE. The initial intro was ok – I figured fitness wise it was what I was after even if the owner was less than friendly she at least held it together. Once the contract was signed how things changed. I absolutely dreaded attending – down to getting scowled at on entry or yelled at for having the wrong form (despite medical issues – I had thought I was signing up for a personal approach and small classes to help with these issues) it was horrendous. All we ever heard about was the owners stress and how she was struggling to keep it together. The classes were over subscribed and when I moved house and legally came out of my contract – the notice period saw me ejected from the booking system, ejected from Facebook and completely alienated – despite being legally bound to still be allowed to use the facility. Yep a total joke. I could go on all day. Very unprofessional – don't bother.

Google Bad Review (2):  If your face fits you'll love it. If it doesn't, it will be an experience you will come to dread when you walk through the door – wondering what mood the owner will be in and if you will get coached that day or completely blanked. So many health and safety issues that were only fixed reactively as a result of members complaining. Crossfit communities in general are incredible. This one could have been if the Head Coach's ego did not come first. The product is great, the other members are great, but the attitude of the Head Coach needs to change as it has a knock on effect on everything else. I have never posted a ‘bad' (honest) review about anything before but this I feel passionate about and don't want others to go through the same difficulties a lot of us did at a cost of £120 a month! With a 3 month notice period where you are made to feel even MORE unwelcome once you give notice. If you decide to join, do it with your eyes open.
