*update. First of all I came on a Saturday, second of all you did not offer to leave the bike for 30mn as you claim. I would have otherwise since I had some business to attend a few minutes away from your shop.You didn't even bother looking at the bike to make a judgement as to what needed to be done and assess how long it would take to fix it. You are either confusing me with a different customer or just a plain dishonest liar pretending to provide a great customer experience.
Either way your comment really make me stay on my original position.NOT IMPRESSED.

unfortunately, first impression matters. I walked in after my chain got stuck and needed to reach my destination quickly , ask if I can borrow a tool. I m told that with the Covid situation, it's not possible. Fair.
I then ask if they can help me sort it out, also stating I will pay for it to make sure there is no misunderstanding. I m told they don't do walk in. As much as I understand that, it would have taken 5 mn and you would have done me a great favour as I needed to be somewhere quickly. luckily there is a shop next door, called “fix it”, I bought a pair of pliers for 3 quid and 5min later i was on my way again. This is not my local bike shop, but now I also know it s not going to be of any use in case of emergency
