Google Bad Review (2):  Rude owner!! I called up enquiring about the ladies only martial arts classes. The owner asked whether I had any previous experience in MA. When I mentioned the name of my previous trainer from a few years back, the mans voice changed! (He clearly knew of him). I then asked whether there were cctv cameras in the hall where the ladies will be training. The man laughed and asked whether my previous training was ladies only, for which I replied no but why does that matter? He then said ‘it’s funny how you’re asking whether we have cctv when you had a male trainer previously’ to which i replied, well I’m practicing my religion more now and if I remove my hijab I wouldn’t want to be on camera. (Which I think is fair) His voice automatically changed after my reply and he said ‘oh I’m glad to hear that you’re more practicing and no we do not have cameras in the ladies hall’ How unprofessional and rude! He could have just answered the question straight away instead of showing his bad character! There were about 5 of us who were going to become members and some of us wear hijab, however, after this phone conversation and speaking to a few other people who have also had to deal with the owners rudeness, we decided not to be part of an establishment run by condescending owners! When you call up to see whether a place will suit you, you don’t expect to be met with interrogation, especially from a fellow Muslim who’s own wife wears hijab!

To the owner: Martial arts philosophy emphasizes on the essence of self-control and respect for others. Something which you clearly do not have.
