Google Bad Review 1: I visited Portland vets in March to have my cats claws cut , I have two cats and was charged £22.00 for two , I went this Saturday 2nd July and when I got to the reception to pay she said £47.50 , I said I think there had been a mistake I only paid 22.00 last time she replied no it is correct the prices have now gone up and we are charging for individual appointments now , I had one appointment for two cats for approximately 5-8 mins in the room, on finishing the appointment I had told her she had missed one claw , and also when I got home I have noticed another one that has been missed , I know prices have gone up but I think this is expensive, also I have had no notification that the prices had gone up by email , or text or even when I phoned up for an appointment, I was going to make an another appointment but at the cost I won’t be , one unhappy customer

Google Bad Review (2): Absolutely awful practice.
The practice manager very rude and cut me off on the phone. The vet doesn't listen.
A very upsetting experience occurred and no past medical history was discussed with me as the pet owner by the vet.
I love my pets, and have had many for decades.
This practice need to learn the protocols for sick animals, investigate them appropriately to have a proper treatment plan.
Be sure that all your questions are answered appropriately. Have a written treatment plan and written consultation. Owners are entitled to read clinical notes . Choices MUST be offered to pet owners.
I don't recommend at all and am taking this matter seriously.
