Google Bad Review 1: We booked Paella Fella for our wedding and were a little disappointed. The food on the day was excellent, both the paella, the tapas and the canapes. It was served an hour late, which was a bit annoying but even more so given the staff repeatedly saying it would be ready in 5-10 minutes, meaning we didn't adjust our plans as we would have done if they'd been honest. Additionally, this was a lot longer than stated in the contract for timing changes (30 mins).
The biggest issue was the communication on the run-up to the event; Paella Fella didn't respond to emails at almost any point, so we had to call every time we needed answers or clarification, and the options and information we were provided tended to have mistakes which we needed to correct each time. Despite having a fixed agreement of price-per-head from well in advance, Paella Fella also tried to increase the prices by an unspecified amount with only a month to go, though did then reverse this when we complained.
We'd probably use them again for a small event, but not for a wedding or anything of that nature.
