Google Bad Review (2): I Purchased a top floor flat in a block of 7 apartments 8 years ago. The roof leaked within the first month. After that first patch up repair the roof leaked in several other places over the course of the next 4 years in my apartment & in the communal areas
I complained continually involving the ombudsman & eventually my section of roof was replaced entirely. It was numerous quick patch up jobs prior to this.
The apartment opposite experienced more problems with leaks.
More recently other apartments with external open balconies have found water pooling & penetrating the apartments below. The waterproof membrane proved useless with water rotting the joists below into the apartment below the open balcony’s.
Roofing contractors have given an estimate of over £30,000 to repair.
More damage has been uncovered & this cost could possibly escalate .
Other issues include regular blocked drains as the waste bore is to narrow.
Solicitors the Ombudsman & the 10 year Premier guarantee / insurers have all been involved at some point or another. These major issues & faults with construction still continue to this day
BUYER BEWARE HENLEY HOMES ARE NOT COMPETENT BUILDERS TO BE TRUSTED
I have given One reluctant star, as they replaced my section of the roof.
Sadly most of my neighbours are still experiencing major problems due to poor construction, bad design & shoddy workmanship to this day.
If this is London’s Premier Award winning building company – Sincerely they should hang their heads in shame !
