Google Bad Review 1: Been at the gym for about a year since I reached 50 to change my life, but honestly, £40 quid for what you get, is just a rip off. The gym is small so when you get better at lifting, you will eventually outgrow the gym (no ego) and when machines break, it takes two weeks for them to get fixed. There are a few influencers that go to this gym, but when you go on their page you see their main gym is bigger and different, so clearly they're getting paid to promote this place, so looking at these reviews, there's no telling what else these lot spend on. Sauna and Steam room always wreak and smell terrible with horrific hygiene. Gym memberships are very competitive, so when The Gym in Walthamstow central charges £25 and some gyms even offer £15 a month, while open for 24 hours. In my humble opinion, this is a rip off, so give people what they're paying for.

Google Bad Review (2): Terrible I joined in December just before lockdown and they took half a payment which is understandable because I joined halfway through the month. However when we were in lockdown in January they took a £25 payment which doesn’t even say the gym name but the company they use for direct debit. I as a member wasn’t made aware of this information so I went to the bank and asked for a refund because I was unsure of who was taking my money or if it was fraud. It is now April when lockdown ended and gyms opened up I have been back for a week and a bit they are now telling me I cancelled and have to pay extra and start a new membership because I apparently cancelled, knowing very well I haven’t since it is a non cancellation contract. They expect me to know all the details of who takes out my money but never made me aware of the details neither did they send me a text or email telling me money was accidentally taken out so matters was taken into my own hands. On top of that the staff member I spoke to was not being helpful at all and was also being patronising talking about how he’ll pay the difference if I want as if I mentioned money was the problem it’s just principals. He also didn’t try to help me in anyway and offer me professional help. I am also not the first person this has happened to so don’t waste your time.
