Google Bad Review 1:  I am a member at Nuffield bromley but it’s getting to the point were I will cancel my membership soon due to the terrible Maintenance. The spa has been broken for half a year now and half the water fountain’s don’t work. Other stuff in there is always going wrong and it seem like they don’t want to pay out to fix issues but are happy to charge high rates for memberships and in return give you terrible facilities.

Google Bad Review 1:  One of the worst decisions I have ever made.
It is expensive and really small (impossible to work out during rush hours).
Women changing rooms smell like sewage.
But the worst part of it is the management. Really unprofessional. For example, yesterday they had a flood and instead of sending an email to all their members informing that the gym was going to be closed, they just let a paper notice outside. They sent an email at mid-day informing about the situation and that they would keep us posted. They never sent another email and today I found out the gym was open (but they have not informed anyone).
I wrote a complain about the situation and they never got back to me.
My college wrote a complaint and received a telephone call. The woman told him there was nothing they could have done and called him liar as she said no one else had made a complain.

Google Bad Review (2):  This is honestly the worst possible gym I have ever gone to! I was promised a locker for three months if I signed up on the day and told I could easily get out of my contract if I wasn't satisfied. The gym itself is dirty and equipment old – and I often have to wait in a queue for a shower as they are poorly equipped for all the suckers — like me!!– they con! Hair-dryers don't work, staff are unfriendly. Do yourself a favour and go to ANY OTHER GYM!

I later found out from another staff member that his name is Hassam and he is the manager!!! How unprofessional and creepy that the manager would ask a customer for her phone number to go out for “lunch sometime”. Ladies be careful, you think you are going to the gym to ask a membership question but instead you can expect to feel super uncomfortable and awkward

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member for more than a year however cancelled my membership in December 2019.

Maintenance is very poorly! Spinning bikes, sauna, swimming pool.. have been broken for weeks several times during 2019.

Classes where changed without consulting members in advance. Classes are already short in the evening hence this move was pretty disappointing.

Additionally the gym was closed beginning of December for over a week but still members had to pay the full monthly membership. When asked about this, local staff referred me to the Oxford Circus club, which remains open but also is not a premium DW club, ergo I'm not getting the service I'm paying for.

Last but not least the gym announced they are increasing the membership fee for 2020 3 days after the cancelation deadline for end 2019. I'm sure for a business, confident of its customer retention capabilities, it must be possible to send customers a reminder a couple of days prior, rather than to merely inform them that they'll pay more from hereon a few days after the cancellation deadline has passed?

Don't join as you will regret it after you buy your money as for the month of November the spa feiceltes broken down so you can't use the pool ,steam room ,sauna and the spa I asked to be refunded the month of November or to be credited for the month of December after they fixed the spa so rudely be rejected I escalated to head office and then done nothing about it so I needed to contact my bank to got my money back so safe your money and to avoid any headache look for an other gym group .

Google Bad Review 1:  I rung up and booked a squash court a week in advance – was advised that as neither of us were members we had to pay £15 each for a “day pass” to play squash. I said that I thought this was too expensive considering we were just going to use the squash courts – to which the person on the phone said that he would let us have the squash court for £20 (for both of us – so £10 each).

So my friend and I turned up on the day, having left work early to make the slot, and I explained that I had a court booked for 5pm. First of all there was no record that the squash court was booked, In fact I could see that there was tip-ex covering up whatever was written on the 5pm booking. However the tip-exed 5pm slot was not filled with anyone else so we were offered it, but were told we had to pay £15 each. I explained that we had made a deal with “Greg” the previous week over the phone, but were told that we were “mis-informed” and that “Greg had left his job”. This is hardly what one would like to encounter having made a legitimate deal in advance. The duty manger refused to even acknowledge, let alone honour,this agreement; which was disgraceful.

It wouldn't have cost the health centre anything to honour this agreement, in fact they actually would have had paying customers for an hour of simple squash. Had we then had a good game this could have turned into a weekly full price session or membership. Instead my friend and I had to spend our £20 at the local pub, which I can assure you had infinitely better customer service than this place.

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member of this gym for over a year. When I joined the gym was good and not very crowded. There were still some issues, such as a limited number of stretching mats, but overall it was good quality for central London. After the refurbishment last year, the quality of the experience has dropped drastically. There are new machines everywhere, for a total of 60 on the main floor. The logic of how these machines were picked is still not clear, since a lot of them are rarely used, while others are used constantly. Instead of providing more stretching areas, they reduced the stretching area to FIVE mats on top of a mezzanine (yes, that's right). The mats are all super close to each other, and when you exercise it is not unusual to accidentally hit the person next to you. The area is not relaxing at all, and people are forced to squeeze small mats right next to the machines if they don't want to wait 30 mins. The gym is also starting to get overcrowded, and they are still showing people around as if there was space for more members when that's obviously not the case.

The classes are generally good with some exceptions; there are some very good teachers (John and the gentleman teaching Pilates) but others are not very experienced/professional. The staff at the reception is generally nice.

I am not clear what Nuffield business model is, but it is simply not working for retaining people.

Google Bad Review (2):  I am very upset by the attitude of the staff…i have been a regular for the last 6 years and i am really disappointed by the approach used by the staff towards me…it is the fourth time they have been complaining because i leave the place at 20.58 (the centre gates shut at 21.00) whereas there are people leaving later at 21.05 and are justified for who knows what. Tonight the staff has been very funny against me saying that those people are justified to leave later…in addition half of showers are always left available and open in the female changing room…this creates queues at the showers…i am very upset by the unfair treatment i have been receiving…try to respect better your regular customers who in turn respect rules and staff!!!!!!!!

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member for more than a year however cancelled my membership in December 2019.

Maintenance is very poorly! Spinning bikes, sauna, swimming pool.. have been broken for weeks several times during 2019.

Classes where changed without consulting members in advance. Classes are already short in the evening hence this move was pretty disappointing.

Additionally the gym was closed beginning of December for over a week but still members had to pay the full monthly membership. When asked about this, local staff referred me to the Oxford Circus club, which remains open but also is not a premium DW club, ergo I'm not getting the service I'm paying for.

Last but not least the gym announced they are increasing the membership fee for 2020 3 days after the cancelation deadline for end 2019. I'm sure for a business, confident of its customer retention capabilities, it must be possible to send customers a reminder a couple of days prior, rather than to merely inform them that they'll pay more from hereon a few days after the cancellation deadline has passed?

Don't join as you will regret it after you buy your money as for the month of November the spa feiceltes broken down so you can't use the pool ,steam room ,sauna and the spa I asked to be refunded the month of November or to be credited for the month of December after they fixed the spa so rudely be rejected I escalated to head office and then done nothing about it so I needed to contact my bank to got my money back so safe your money and to avoid any headache look for an other gym group .

Google Bad Review 1:  Nuffield has only been associated with good things and quality services so when I was looking for a PCR test to travel I was confident when booking at Nuffield Health I was confident and at peace knowing I’d receive a quality service. Even better, the service was advertised as “government-approved Gold Standard PCR”.

Although the confirmation email advised me to arrive 5mins early I arrived in the area 40minutes early and decided to walk by to see where I’d be taking my test. I had planned to pop back later but after seeing a queue building I stayed.

Despite arriving 40mins early I was seen 20minutes after my appointment time. The testing centre was also understaffed. There was only one staff member registering patients details and taking swabs. By the time I was seen to the queue had built up to 20 people with a severe backlog.

I only booked this service because Nuffield have a good reputation. Unfortunately the service I received was well below what I’d expect to receive anywhere.

Google Bad Review 1:  Very disappointing. The staff is extremely rude. One of the teachers in the middle of the class loudly told me I shouldn't be on the class as I couldn't do the exercises perfectly . But when I paid for the class I informed the staff I haven't been at this studio yet and I just want to try and they said it is completely fine. Yoga supposed to be relaxing but this experience was just stressful. I do not recommend this place especially if you are a beginner.

They have problems at every level of management, including the executive level, and this creates an environment of fast food chain store yoga disguising itself as the real deal. Go anywhere else and you will have a better experience. Try youtube and you will have better instruction.
