Google Bad Review (2):  I’m really sad to have to leave this review but this group keeps mailing mailers that it’s been so long since I’ve seen them, etc like they think I don’t know that it’s important to get chiropractic care – but they just sent one about how you can get hurt in car accidents… so I’m leaving a review. last year my family was in a hit and run and this office refused to see us because I had so many kids and we were all hurt and needed to get in at similar times because it was painful for us to get there. We were hurt. The secretary at the front literally said “the afternoon is completely open but we can only see two of you at one time because we have to leave the spots open for other people”. I asked if we could do a different day together, etc. nope. This offices policy as of last year is no more than 2-3 people from a family at a time. They’ll let you make multiple trips in a day, which seems appropriate to them, but if you’re injured in a car accident, not feasible.

I was devastated. I had seen this office through my pregnancy the year before and was established there, we loved Dr Courtney, We had Med pay, easy fast money for this office because a whole family can get adjusted quick, and they refused to see us because other potential peoples spots (Who hadn’t even scheduled yet) were more important. I understand if there weren’t openings; I don’t expect anyone to change a schedule for us (although our new chiropractor fits us in ASAP around current appointments if we are hurt, it’s a policy for his clients) – I thought all Chiro’s did that if they had the ability … but now I know better. I wish I had known before we got hurt in an accident so we were already established at a practice that would be willing to see us if their schedule was open. This one refuses one the name of keeping the schedule open. Odd business practice.

I was injured and unable to come in 6 times a week with my young kids for initial adjustments on 2 of us at a time. They wouldn’t even let us do one day a week all together even with open schedule. Ended up going to another chiropractor in another location who injured me much worse than I was already hurt because he would see us all the next day, and then finally found one who was very competent and welcoming and commuted a distance for several months to see him for care, but by the time we got there I could barely walk, the pain was excruciating. The immediate 1.5 week fiasco trying to find a competent chiropractor who wasn’t discriminating against large families intentionally when this office wouldn’t see us after several months of me seeing them through my pregnancy was stressful, delayed care, and ultimately made it take longer for our injuries to be treated and start healing.

I would never have started care during my pregnancy here if I had known that my family couldn’t get care when we got hurt in a car accident.

So, yes. See attached flyer they sent me. I haven’t been seen here in a year, and car accidents do cause whiplash especially when you’re hit at 75 in a hit and run on the freeway with your kids. You should get seen ASAP by your chiropractor when this happens. Unfortunately this office limits appointments with wide open schedules and it ends up hurting families. We tried to be seen here, but no matter what day or how open the schedule was, policy here is no more than 2-3 people per family at a time even with hours of no appointments. Unrealistic for a large family that’s just been injured. They wouldn’t see us together and I’m unsure why they’re still sending me flyers like they want to see us.

You need adjustments, Dr Courtney is fantastic. Front office staff seemed really kind until we were badly hurt, but sadly, last year and the last time we tried to see them, their priority was keeping their schedule open, not treating injured patients if they have a family size larger than 3.

After I had an accident Dr. H was recommended by a friend. 6 Months of treatment and $10,000 later his practice was the real winner in my settlement; even more than the ER visit. Treatment seemed rushed to justify the bottom line. He and his staff were cordial and professional, and willing to work around ones schedule. That was a positive take-a-way.

After one month of going to The Joint I am sorely disappointed in the experience. When signing up, I was given 3 free sessions, which I was not able to use in the first month, which apparently expire, although nobody told me that they have an expiration date (or gave me any paperwork with an expiration date).

Every time I went it was someone different, which is their whole set-up I suppose, but each adjustment was different and there was no consistency. I female adjusted me last and I left worse than when I came. She didn't have enough strength to do a full adjustment and fix anything, but moved things (especially in my neck) enough to throw them out of whack and do damage.

The last time that I went Jeff Houston was beyond rude and unprofessional. They only have males in the office two days a week and I went on one of those two days, specifically so that I wouldn't be repeating the bad adjustment from the time before. He had no tact or professionalism and was just rude all the way around.

Trying to get anything rectified with their customer service is a JOKE and all I can do is warn everyone not to come here.

Google Bad Review 1:  Latest update: Dr. Ray billed me for non-existing visit and I found it out by reading line by line of the bill. I called them immediately and they never bother to send me a corrected bill before they sent my bill to collections. Be aware! They called me in late August and they asked me for 3 payments and remove my review on google. I agreed on the payment plan but rejected to remove my post. Today I called them to pay the bill again, but the lady on the phone told me just wait for the collection's company to call me. I was shocked. They would put dents on my credit score as a revenge even I agreed to pay the amount back in August. I figured that they sent my bill to collections just because I wont remove this post. But I have the freedom of telling the truth. That's my point. I am telling all of you that be careful of this business. –updated on Oct 11, 2018.

The masseuse there just took short cuts and cut down the time from around 30 min to 20 min but still charge the full amount. I have been there around 10 times and it was like that exactly. Not very professional. But this is nothing comparing with the next. One day, I received a big bill from them saying the insurance won't pay this amount and it would be from my own pocket. It is more than $500 and they demanded me pay them in 2 install payments in a month. I said I had other medical expenses need to pay to other doctors so can I do 4 payments instead. They said no and would send my bill to collections right away. Very rude and does not care about patients. They are just greedy to get money right with shoddy work. Do patients deserve to be sent to collections with just a change to the install payments they demanded? People can not send one big bill one day and ask patients to pay it off in 2 payments in a month otherwise will be with collections. I have never seen such a doctor before in my life, seriously, which is why I posted this. If you care about your credit score, please walk away. He would screw you up with no hesitation. Money is his only God. I was wondering how much he care about patients or he just peek at your pocket only. Low moral and no business ethics. Don't know how he managed to get those good reviews. Have they ever received medical bills from Dr. Ray? That's my question.

Google Bad Review 1:  If I could give negative stars I would. My wife went in a few months ago for 3 sessions and on the 3rd session the guy didn't even stretch her first. Her hip was bad before and now it's even worse. Highly don't recommend this place. The guy was kinda a creep too.
