Google Bad Review: The hire was cheap and the service was good until a shallow one inch dent was found on return. The company charges a £750 excess for ANY panel damage. It looked like the van was knocked by another vehicle door or morror whilst parked. Fast van hire threatened court action unless i paid immediately, and wouldnt allow me to try and repair with a body shop who quoted me a small fraction of the £750 fast hire excess (company excess, not insurance excess). Usually companies have a more lienient approach to such minor dinks as they can be repaired for a small cost. It seemed like they were happy to find the damage, even though the manager of the branch informed me (full quote) “taking a customers money like this doesn't make my d**k hard”. An embarrassing experience and a very costly one.
